Anyone in Phuket/Patong in August?
Hi, I am Mike, 32 from Austria and I am the first time in Phuket/Patong in August. I will go to Bangkok from 2.-4.th of August and than from the 4th to the 14th to Phuket,.
As my pal cancelled the trip because of familiar problems I will go to Phuket alone.
Would be quite a good chance if there is any other newbie (or more expirienced fellow) there in Patong at the same time to make some expirience and to pick um some ladies there. I just think it maakes more fun having company.
Best regards,
Mike

I shall be there in August, do not worry about your friend cancelling, i did not want to travel alone the first time but as soon as you are there you will have no problem meeting others in the same situation as yourself.
see you there

Thanks for the information!
One question: what means "Ring the bell for double love"?
Which bell?

Somewhere in most bars can be found a bell which may be rung by punters who want to buy a round of drinks, usually shooters, for everyone at the bar. This makes you popular with a) the other punters and b) the bar owner.
It also attracts the attention of circling sharks, sorry, I mean BGs, to the presence of some fresh food, sorry I mean a generous customer (and therefore potential sponsor/husband).
Cheers,
K.

I had also heard "he who rings the bell in Jest, buys a drink for all the rest!"

Several years ago we changed the ringing bell to only buying the staff a drink and not other customers in the bar, same as they do in Angeles. I have also now noticed several other bars are doing this now as well.
