how far from jintana
Hi guys, I'll be making my first trip to Phuket on the last week of Feb. I'm staying at the Jintana,I can't figure out how far the Jintana is from Bangla Rd on the hotels website. Could I walk there from the hotel or take the bus, I'd like to stop in to the MTB and buy a few beers for the BM's whose advice I've been getting from this forum. Thanks in advance.

Jintana. Very easy. Walk out, go left to the street and wait for bus number 123. Don't step in nr 122, common mistake, but wait for 123. You can buy bus tickets at every telephone shop. Jintana - Patong, around 27 Baht. Round trip 51 Baht. Ask the chauf to stop at the second hotel when you enter Patong from the left.
Don't forget your bus card, the Thai are very strict on this.
Hope this helps!

BURG real helpful
try this instead
http://www.phuket1st.com/jintana_phuket.htm
right there 5 mins walk
here is a review
staying there xmas
An oasis right in the centre of the madness that is Patong!! Only a couple of minutes walk from the main night life area of Bangla Road yet peace and quiet remained thanks to the lush tropical gardens surrounding the hotel. The hotel had a nice simple reception with very helpful and very friendly staff 24 x 7...they even have a gateman 24 x 7 as well! The rooms were large and very clean with a good sized bathroom, which even had a bath. Rooms cleaned daily and all towels and linen changed also! Again, cleaning staff very polite and friendly. Nice pool in gardens but very little used as a 4km talcolm powder sand beach only a 5 minute walk away! One tip, if you stay in Patong it appears most of the hotels (including Jintana)provide guests with pool/beach towels free of charge, so don t bother packing them. Would highly recommend this hotel and would go back tomorrow....just need to persuade the boss to give me some more holidays!!!

Good hotel choice
I stayed there in April.
When leaving the hotel, walk to the end of the small soi and turn right.
walk past the open air restaurants and the 2 Black Sheep pub and you are almost there.Almost opposite Tai Pan and Baya Beach you will find Bangla Rd.
Its about a 10min walk max.More if you are a fat bastard

Burg have you been on the sauce today?
That is not the advise needed for someone who wants to go from Jintana Hotel to Bangla Rd.
Unless there is another Jintana that is not in Patong, then I apologise
