Can anyone tell me what the sceen is like in april,i have been there last october and this augaust,ive heard it is very hot,what about tourism at this time of the year,is it more expensive.

April is hot. There:s Songkran that month, and Phuket Bike Week. A good time, usually.

HOTELS ARE NOT AS EXPENSIVE AS HIGH SEASON AND NOT AS CHEAP AS LOW SEASON..........IN OTHER WORDS IN BETWEEN PRICES..

And its a bit more expensive for hotels than October and August because it will be still high season at that time, But its well worth it, My best trip was during Songkran, You have to experience it at least once

yeah, jonny,
im going to los oct13-30, cant make it for xmas-new year. will come for april and another holiday in july. but they will only be 7-9day holidays

Songkran is a gas. I want to experience the Patong version now! I was in BKK and have some killer video of my time. I covered my camcorder with a chicken soup bag and some rubber bands. Some kids nailed my lens with that gooey white krapola though. You can still see it in the grooves behind the lens.

One of these days, I'll have to post that vid. I cut it, but never compressed it. High time I did that.....
