Welcome to the board. Always room for another patient here in the Asian fever ICU ward. Now you can relate on our plane of existance. Don't expect others that are out of phase with us/you to ever relate, as they will never be able to 'imagine' our reality and will forever be trolls.

Hi Steve,
Glad you enjoyed yourself in los.
The question you post has been asked many times, the simple answer is NO, there is no cure other than to take regular doses of los medicine, ie: saving for and planning your next visit. Visiting this forum and talking about it helps too, it may help get over any blues you may be feeling on return from such a euphoric time in the garden of eden.
I go twice a year myself but would go much more if I could. Just one piece of advice if I may, try not to fall in love with those little darlings.

There is no known cure. I started coming here 10 years ago. 2 weeks at a time to start with. Each trip got longer and longer. Now I stay in Patong 6 months of the year!

I play poker with some dudes from South East Asia, and when I told them that I was going to Phuket, they all laughed, and one said, Paul - "When you get back you will have a permanent smile, and they will have to take you off the plane in a wheelchair"
I also have a few pals that "just visited" and they now live in LOS for 6 months of the year.
Also, I know a dude who had a bitter divorce- his wife had grown an ass that had its own postal code- and now she wanted his cash. He got a lawyer, liquidated his assets, went to Acapulco (when it was cheap) bought some property, and hooked up with a 19 year old. He is one happy camper, but the wimps and trolls think he is a deviant pervert.
**** them!

Having read the forum threads over the past few weeks i know i am not alone in having full blown thai fever and it is amazing how it affects you long after you come back home. I can honestly say i did not go for the BG experience but bumped into a fellow UK man on his own and he took me to patong. For anyone on the edge of the cliff or hovering above it, take the leap of faith and go... you will never be the same again. its been differcult for me on returning to get a grip on work and anything else, i know what the bargirls are and what they can do for you but it makes a reasonable intelligent and rational man complete and utter jelly ! and i can relate to other threads where grown men weeping at airports or want to marry them within a week etc... leaving with thier wallets empty but happy. The experience has changed my outlook on western women(now known as whitebait) and if they could absorb just a fraction of what the BG's do for us in LOS , we would all be happier men. Why do we all try and keep in contact with these women and send money etc.. when untimately we know what they are and what they will be doing the minute we head for the airport.
The mate i met in LOS and I talk every day about LOS (been back since AUG) and the fever shows no sign of going away as we planned to go back in may 06 but cant cope and are going back on 28th Dec to 9th Jan
I for one my grateful i stumbled across Patong as the trip probably saved my sanity and makes me smile every day. if there is a cure don't tell me !
P.S any one want five unread books to read !

First trip is always the most "dangerous"........once you get over that and can read and learn about the BIG picture, LOS becomes a paradise for many, but not everybody !

4th generation antibiotics cures the main symptoms , but the virus will remain in your system forever. They will never find a cure for Thai Fever , but I am willing to keep visiting every year ( for research purposes only ) , in the hope that I can save others from horrific withdrawal feelings that I get every time I leave.

Sorry chaps, don't want to drag the thread off topic when you are having such fun, but I can't see my previous posts on this thread, so help a guy out and just tell me if this is my first post or are there others? I can't have had that much to drink last night!

I've lived in Blackpool for around 30 years, and I reckon it caused my Thai fever! Ain't no cure for it up here..

Used to know a South African girl who used to work in a pub at Skegness.......ummm, that was in 1991, so she might not be all that pretty anymore, in fact she was a wee bit chubby back then.......ok lets forget it....she is probably back in Jo'burg, 3 kids and topping 100 kgs with a fag hanging out of her gob.

Care to expand on your "Accidental' experience for us all here in the 'Newbies' section Jazz.................. or was it a mate of yours that experienced this awful, sad and traumatic event in his young life?
I wouldn't want for anyone else to suffer

Hey Denver I was going to going to recommend watching the excellent "Asian Fever" DVD series from Hustler to unburden the load.............so to speak............of Thai fever......... but I think you and Dirty Mike might prefer the "She-Male Rogue Adventures" series
I checked out the boxes (of the SMRA series) for you but couldn't find any mention of any Thai guys named Bob on the cast list so sorry about that..........seemed to be more of the Brazilian persuasion than Thai
Back to The "Asian Fever" series though...........in one of the scenes this big black guy is going hammer and tong in the dog with a rather nubile young Thai lass and I started to lose concentration all of a sudden........then it dawned on me that it was being shot on the verandah of a quite isolated bungalow which I had rented on the south coast of Samui about two years ago................talk about bringing back mammaries..........
