More than 1,000 tourists joined in a Beer Drinking Festival in Patong.

The Festival took place at the Bavarian Restaurant on Patong beach with over 1,000 foreign tourists participating. The Panama Ambassador to Thailand His Excellency Mr. David Guardia Varela presided over the opening ceremony. The 30 million baht restaurant is a joint venture between German and Thai investors to bring back the festive atmosphere for the island. During the fest, German food and music were also staged creating pleasant and happy moods at Patong beach.

A few guys who went to the opening night managed to stagger into my bar afterwards.They said they had a good time and the place is something different.It is on the Karon road just south of the Nanai junction (opposite Simon Cabaret)

I must go up there for an ompahhh some evening.
