2006 Phuket Gay Festival

patong: the four-day 7th annual phuket gay festival opens tomorrow night, with this year’s theme being, “phuket is back! – let’s celebrate!”

the program of events is as follows:

thursday, february 2:

8 pm - opening “red” party in paradise complex, featuring:

- ribbon cutting.

- speech by mayor of patong.

- presentation by patong hospital.

- games & shows.

friday february 3:

10:30 am: preliminary beach volleyball competition.

11 am: lesbian adventures islands cruise.

8 pm onwards: “white” party in paradise complex, with games and shows.

saturday february 4:

10:30 am: beach volleyball final.

11 am: gay day cruise to koh khai.

8 pm onwards: “yellow/golden” party in paradise co mplex, with games and shows.

sunday february 5:

3 pm: 7th phuket gay festival grand parade, with the theme “phuket is back! – let’s celebrate!”, starting outside the duang jit resort on prachanukroh rd and ending in the paradise complex.

8 pm onwards: closing “rainbow” party in paradise complex, including awards ceremony, games and shows.
