Don't know if it is...but if not the next best thing would be the seaplane flights which can be chartered or they have a regular schedule>>>>

What happened?

I am wondering if anybody knows what happened to Capt Bob Pagett and his plan. In one of his last posts he said that "land has been aquired for our heli-port and a B407 obtained..", but I couldn't find any company (through the internet) that operates helicopters around Phuket.

Funny you should say that.... Bob is on his way back and believe arrives some time in the next few days. He has mentioned his plans but best to discuss with him.

Sounds like the Helicopter company never took off :/ If you hear anything, let me know. I am a helicopter owner.

Talking

Hi Trent and fellow board members!!

Just arived back in Oz after 11 days in Phuket, Trent, i came down to Dingoes a number of times to catch up with you but unfortunatley you were not around and i undertstand from speaking with your staff that Dennis was sick also?

Phuket Helicopters is a definate goer and land to operate from has been the main issue, the land were were going to use is not available as we are going to build Condo;s etc, at this stage i am looking at some land in Kalim but price is an issue.

Had meetings with our Lawyer and the Mayor of Patong, along with the Chief of Police and Goverment ministers. so yes my plans are proceeding, some what slow but proceeding in the right direction.

Have great support from those that count and hope to have something going next season.

goy go, just home and bloody buggered after 9 hour flight....

Couldn't you operate from the new airfield on the east side? or is it that you want to be based in near Patong?

Surely the Laguna complex would welcome your operation and would find room for you up there. After all, most of your business would probably come from the Laguna/Layan area.

LOS,

We really want to be as close to Patong as is possible, i have not seen the new airfield but certainly have heard about it, i will be back over in a few weeks and will check it out.

the info you have provided is worthy of a follow up and i will have the mayor check this out for me while i am back here in wet and cold Sydney.

thanks guys....

Chopperman
