Interesting when in the UK they are ripping a lot of eqipment out of playgrounds in case the kids have accidents.
The main motivation being the fear of being sued by parents egged on by money hungry lawyers.
We take the wrong view : Its the kids that are dangerous and they are not safe to left to abuse the equipment. Thats why they cant pay conkers, tag or anything else that might result in injury....no matter how small.
As for Thailand. How many times have you seen a toddler ride standing between the driver and the handlebars of a motor scooter? Dont brake hard daddy or junior is going to lose his teeth before they see the light of day.
How many girls have you seen that doesnt have some evidence of an accident? Scar on the leg, arm or elsewhere?
Safety doesnt seem to be of great concern somehow.
