But no threat at all to Thailand. Possible damage in the Phillipines. On the Richter scale, this was not a huge 'quake

2136 nautical miles from Kaohsiung to Phuket (3955 km) following BP Nautical distance tables. Bit of expedition also,,South Westerly through South China Sea, then turn NW-NNW at Singapore to go through Malacca Strait. Little chance it could hit Phuket, me think.
