when the wife and i were up in vientianne, the hotel was hosting a convention group of burmese army officers, lovely i thought the pariah states finest visiting one of the few countries in the world who tolerate them.
shocking karaoke singing, but otherwise virtually un-noticeable. sonthi visits the paranoid junta of burma, lets hope he doesnt develop a similar paranoia or a thai version of it.
