MiniVDO: Local government in Kamala is seeking 36 million baht fund to resolve flood

The Kamala sub-district administration is requesting 36 million baht funding from the provincial authority to resolve flood problems. The local government chief Chuta Dumlak said to tackle the problem in the short term he asked for assistance from the provincial prison to dredge the canal while an embankment or dam is planned for a long term solution. The 36 million baht budget is included in a 3 year development plan under the provincial package, he explained. The local administration also told developers not to build on public waterways to allow water flows in prevention of floods in the village, he stressed.
