Do you stream the audio online...
Dont have any VHF aerial around but would be interested to hear this...
The current gov has a huge amout of issues that normal gov's have not had to deal with yet his recent focus's on tuk tuk issues and some other points I have heard make me think he is at least thinking in the right direction..
BTW just had a disgusting arguement with tuk tuks that wanted 200 baht for a less than 1km journey in town simply cause they saw my mate was on crutches and had no options.. no barter possible (even in thai, starting off polite, with his non BG thai wife).. Next tuk tuk in line would not talk to us cause they knew they had to keep the line.. ****ing vermin.. It aint the money its the fact of ripping off someone in a rough position, if it had been someone who could walk they would not have been able to take advantage.

For those with Linux (and mplayer intalled), you can get the interview via:
1st part
bash-shell:> mplayer -dumpstream http://www.thaisnews.com/vdo/05178152604v.asf
File will be saved as dumpstream in your current directory.
2nd part
bash-shell:> mplayer -dumpstream http://www.thaisnews.com/vdo/05178153823v.asf
File will be saved as dumpstream in your current directory.
If you are going to dump both at the same time, either change to a different directory, or use the "mplayer" option to specify a file name.
Then use your media player (such as mplayer) to play the files.
It worked for me.
Video is a rather poor 320x240 quality. But audio seems good.

Hate-hate relationship with Patong Beach tuk-tuks

I have a hate-hate relationship with Tuk Tuks in Patong Beach, and I do my most to bargain them down to the last possible baht, in pure defiance of the exhorbant price they first ask for. I will often walk away, even if I manage to get them to come down to 70 baht in price (which is not all the time), and sometimes I walk away even if they come down to a reasonable 60 baht. I know, .... 60 baht is a good price, but its the hair on my back standing up, and my Irish blood starting to simmer close to a boil, that makes me walk. Of course it also means I have to carry a frigging umbrella around with me all the time, just to be certain I don't get soaked when I end up walking in the rain, due to my Irish stubborness. The Tuk Tuk mafia is one of my very few strong hates about Patong Beach. [the constant bother from Patong Beach Tailor's is another hate ...]
As you point out, with a friend on crutches, the "cash registers" were ringing in their eyes.
Having said that, I did read that one is able to make complaints about fare problems, ... although I'm not sure how much symapthy one will get. Article from Phuket Gazette states:
