Hi! I stayed at Nana Hotel plenty of times and I really think that the the place is overpriced for the quality of rooms. Very guest friendly except the disco where they check ID of thai girls, even the ones who have a foreign passport !
I still wonder if I will go there again or try another hotel in the area next time. But of course, the hotel's strength is it's great location.
Reagrds,
Bobby

The Nana is a flea pit in my opinion and a lot of others.
Majestic is good.....but not so large and can sometimes be difficult to get a room.
The Dynasty on soi 4 almost opposite the Nana is a favourite for many...bigger and better than the Nana.
Whats your budget?...there are many hotels in Bangkok a lot better than these for the money....or do you just want to be that close to Nana?

It's down at Sukhumvit 15.
I used to stay in a Swedish hotel in Sukhumvit 8 (or 10). called Vital House. Used to love it.
It then changed it's name and I found somewhere else I preferred (and have moved on again and again since then).
Wonder if it istill going or what it became?

Bkk Hotels
O.K. Nana is out for me...
Call Marriott direct and ask for U.S. Gov Rate....
Yeah Yeah...90 USD Blah Blah Blah....
Nice place....Just did Thur Fri and Sat...A little hint. The girls around Nana and Morning Nite Bar know that no B.S. is the rule at Marriott....Why....No I.D. check no nothing....Execpt camera sys like Las Vegas....Got you on Candid Camera...No Problems.
Very nice....I call it Big Boys Boom Hotel!
I got my mates from California in on that rate just by asking...

I stayed at The Manhattan not so long ago. It's fine. Nice people, couple of nice quiet bars, a great sushi bar if you like that stuff and it's guest friendly - although they do check the girls' IDs. And it's just round the corner from the Thermae. Had a crazy night there once. I was about four sois down Sukhumvit when I suddenly got gripped by what's politely called holiday tummy but is actually the galloping shits. In order to avoid an ecological disaster I set off at a sprint for the hotel, which is not easy when you're also trying to clench your **** cheeks together. As I was charging past the Thermae I saw this absolute stunner coming out. I stopped and asked her if she wanted to come back with me LT. She said fine although she was a bit puzzled as to why I was hopping from one foot to the other and why we had to get back to the hotel at a brisk trot. Maybe she was flattered - thought I just couldn't wait to get her up to the room and get her kit off. Which I did, once I'd attended to more urgent matters!

Thanks Schmeen. You would have laughed more if you'd seen it!
Jimmy, when you say the Marriott, which one do you mean? Aren't there a few in Bangkok?

Two Marriotts
Yeah...there are two...I'm almost always at the J.W. except if I'm really in lust!
A J.W. (5star)on Suk for the Big Kid Boom Boom Hotel
and over on the other side of the river a Marriott Resort.
The river property has a boat that shuttles you to the end of the BTS at Saphan Taksin.....It's an very well kept older property, much like myself, and has more great stuff from the Jim Thompson era and many more antiques.
Had a Mai Thai Lady there for 3 nights last year....She just wanted to chill out and of course not much Boom Life for the butterfly....Very nice BTS is right there after a very nice ride on a very nice boat!
Just finished a half week at the Suk Digs.... Flowers and a fruit bowl in the room daily, for their frequent guests!
Pic Below...Gift of Mobile for one of the two Tour Roomies,
You velly smart man....now you can keep me velly close,
Yes Darlingl....you will stay close!
