Phuket Nightlife - Non-drinker wants bar girl

Are many bars frequented by farang who don't drink alcohol but want to meet lovely bar girls.
Do bar girls like non-drinkers?
Does orange juice cost more than beer? Should/do non-drinkers go elsewhere - massage shops, the street?
What is a 'lady drink'? Is it a cola or whatever she wants to drink?
Are non-drinkers looked down upon by the drinkers?
Should I drink more beer?

I mostly drink soda when I'm out there, never been a problem.

do what you like my man. i could care less what you are drinking and dont think the girl will either.
i think an orange juice might cost 40-50baht vs beer being 80baht
a lady drink is usually 120baht and is anythign she wants. even if its not alcohol, which some guys get pissed about but i dont see why

as far as girls caring if you drink. there are many bg's that would be very happy to hook up with a man that doesnt like the bar scene too much.
the girls love going to shows, bowling, movies, daytrips, so you will be fine
you also seem to be a candidate for a LT girl. find a girl you like and stay with her most of your vacation

had no problem there drinking most time my lovely coffee or coke.i think ladies like non-alcohol drinkers as they look for bf. in one bar lady drink was coke and the girls asked to spend a coke. i enjoyed this as i don´t like bloddy pissed ladies. so don´t worry about this. for myself i can have a lot of fun and a very good time without alcohol and the ladies like it to. maybe a ****** would like a drunken guy becouse its easier for her to take the money out of you.

and better boom boom without to much alcohol she likes it too!

the only alcohol i drink is when i get a shooter from the bellringing for the rest i drink almost all the tine non alcohol no problem

Sometimes I'll sit and drink diet coke all night, but most of the time I drink Tiger beer. Drinking non-alcholic is not a problem, it's not even noticed really.

As for lady drinks, it can differ from bar to bar so best to check first, as sometimes you pay for say, a bottle of beer, cider, Spy etc and other times, you'll pay for an orange squash !!

It is true, no one really bothers what you drink or not drink. Although there are - positive - exceptions: I once used to visit the same bar very regular. And I always started the night with a cup of coffee. That got noticed, and I think I got some ´status´from it.

same same me,
1st tour ended up my TG calling me 'ken cola' (cause i'm called ken and drank lotsa coke)

seemed to have a +ve impact on some i met - 'you good heart, you no dlink beer'.
mind you, she also said - 'you hansum man'

Depends on the girl.. Some would prefer a sober calm guy, others prefer a party animal that will drink and dance until dawn in safari / underground / etc..

Thats why its important to spend some time with girls before attempting mad stuff like taking them away for a few days (recent threads where people either wanted to do this from a photo of getting an unknown to a remote resort for a while).. People are too diverse and chemistry is vital..

Yep... better you act the way you really are. That way, you attract girls who are attracted by your style, and you´ll have a better match and way more fun!

Thanks to everyone who posted on this subject. Now I know I can be in the bar without pressure to get drunk, can drink my orange juice and coffee, keep a cool head and heart. Nice to know that some girls prefer a man who doesn't drink much alcohol so I can be myself but in the environment I want to be in (the bar).

Just beware as the rest of us in MTB will be speaking absolute garbage and some BMs may even try and kiss you, this does not seem quite as funny when you are stone cold sober

Drink whatever you wish. Just tip like a rock star. Buy some rounds if you can afford it too.
