I am looking to hook up with girls during the day time. I see a lot of pretty girls shopping working out at Phukett Gym, at the hotel, on the street, everywhere. Since this is in the day time and not sure of they are working girls, what is my best approach them and find out if they are working girls without offending them?

Say hello......ask them if they would like a drink etc.....and see if they give you any signs.....you need to be careful not to offend them though.

You talk about 'normal' girls?

Same rules as in your home country apply. Why should it be any different here?

You mean to say that there are actual girls in Thailand that are not working/bar girls.. Wow you learn something new each day

My wife was never a BG.. She was a "normal girl"... Although knowing her family I am sure she would eventually ended up at a bar.. Now I am trying to have her younger sister move in with us in the future. I would hate to see her go into the business. Haha I love bar girls but not in my family

It is really easy to see if a girl is approachable: eye contact and smile. If she does smile back it will be just ok to start a chat with her. If she averts eye contact and marches on, you got no points.

Even if she is not up for it, if you keep it socially acceptable what you say to her, no bad feelings will occur. It is really the most easy and natural thing in the world...

However, quite frankly, what would you want to do with a "good girl" after you have made contact: doing the whole "invite you to dinner, invite you to the movies" thing is an incredible waste of time and effort and the good girls here have exactly the same hangups as the good girls back home. And the #really good# girls will require a marriage certificate on top, so for what???

A good while back, as I also thought of getting together with a good girl, I made a little poll on our office party, what our girls thought about hooking up with Farangs or "doing it" before marriage.

CULTURE SHOCK! A lot of big-eyed staring at me, as if I just had grown a third arm or gone completely nuts.

ALL our office girls insisted that there would be no other way to "give themselves" to somebody without parental approval and a little ring on the finger. We had at that time only Muslim girls in the office though (all with Uni degree), so maybe not possible to extrapolate that on "real" Thai girls.

i agree with what you post hansel, most of TGs i have talked to, are that straight in their thinking.
pre-marital sex, farangs, going to a bar (non-thai), all invoke the big eyed stunned looks, and the nasty farang even thinking this looks.

no doubt some of the GG TGs are up for it, but its a lot of hassle, when you could just go and get a BG for no effort.

tradition is still strong with the TGs i have met, and their goal is marriage, not easy sex.

Smile and say "Sawasdee kap" and look at the their face as you say it (not their body!). That's a good start. They like it if you can Pood Thai nid noi (speak Thai a little bit). Works for me

Mate just go for a drive round the beaches at lunch time. A mate and I did this keeping in mind the earlier tips mentioned. We stopped at one beach for a beer, got some eye contact, and said G'day. After some banter about what the girls were eating we asked them if they'd like to have a drink, which they keenly accepted. After a few bottles of Sangsom we ended up at the hair salon where they worked, and that night back at our hotel pool. A fun nite was had by all!

Free lancers are working girls, so it is the same. They can do something else during the day, but they are going with you for the "bucks".

A normal Thai girl, what is that? Girls living in areas, with many tourists, could sometimes make the step to go for an adventure, as are "students" in a town like Bangkok.

If you meet girls in a small town, they will be polite to you, but to get them in bed, that's another story.

I once was given a ride by a girl from our BKK-office.
A man shouted names at her, and was even un polite towards me. Some Thai's don't like their girls to be banged by foreigners at all!

true it is naughty boy, once you cross the line and start going out with non bgs it starts to get complex.
a lot of thais outside the farang/thailand really seem to disapprove of seeing the girls going out with a farang.

picking up the gf at weekends from university or her "cousins" during the week, its not just a matter of sitting in the car, its meet all the friends and whatever passing teacher is about. its sort of, look we are the same as a normal couple. my efforts to learn thai seem to help in this normalisation of this relationship in the eyes of others.
i speak thai like a 6 year old, issan like a 3 year old and read and write like a almost illiterate farm labourer, but at university pickup time its all thai language.

thank you all for the advice. I got the message loud and clear. I will start up a conversation and look at their face instead of drooling over their body and how badly I want it!
Should be interesting, I got my eye on three very beautiful girls at Phuket Gym. I never see them out at night no matter where I search. Lets see what happens.
