what happened at safari last night?
hey everyone, was just wondering if anyone was at safari last night. was talking to a TG friend of mine and she said a thai man pulled out a gun to a felang. just curious as to what happened or if anyone seen it

thanks ruby123, for warning me, now i know patong is so dangerous i will never return.
bugger me, i work in place full of nutters, psychopaths etc, now thailand is so dangerous i must be worried there. bugger the wedding in august, i will sms the gf now, and tell her los is a bad place.

F&%K you should live in Sydney dude,, Heaps of People of middle eastern descent shooting each other..  of late its been a shooting a week for the past few months.... Actually I think you will find as many guns in rural Thailand.. Thailand was pretty much gun permitted until the last few years..

I just returned from a week in Cancun and there was at least 1 fight we saw every single night!!! I spent 3 weeks in Thailand and did not see 1 fight.
Considering all the alcohol that is flowing in Phuket, and all the different types of people there, I would consider it extremely safe (as long as you keep a proper head on your shoulders).

I probably only saw about 3 stunners (locals) the whole time. The farang talent at the resort was amazing though. We ventured outside of Cancun a few times and that was the best part of the trip. Seeing how the Mexicans really live is so different than staying in Cancun. The other big thing is that all the resorts there are all-inclusive. I'd say about 80% of the people we met did not even leave the resort. Drinks & food were all paid for, they had their pool & beach and couldn't be bothered to leave the resorts. It was my second & probably last trip to Cancun. I think if I head back that way, I'll check out Cuba next.
