how was the holiday and what did you get up to.

Hey Baz,

Sorry, I have been so busy trying to prepare for this trip..you know, all the girlie stuff such as shopping for bikinis, shoes, beachwear, etc. My trip is coming up on the 28th of this month..YAYYY..I can't wait to go....I'm bringing my digital camera and I'll show them to you once I return 3 weeks later. Got any last minute advice for me before I go..?? Like, where/ what to eat...where to go for nightlife...where to go for watersports..etc...I'm soooo excited..only 7 more days.

Hi Jewelz!

Good to see you still keep looking in and are getting excited about going to LOS.

It will be great to see ANY photos you have. A little bit of advice here - Take LOTS of photos, even if you think they are not important. Take photos of shops, cars, taxis, policemen, bars, hills etc.

In years to come, all those 'little' things will bring you back some great memories, as well as photos of nice buildings etc.

There are many good places to eat in Patong. There are big restaurants which are fantastic, but it is also good to go to the street vendors with the plastic chairs and tables. Some of the food is excellent (and cheap!!).

As for watersports, then try room 107 at the Patong Pearl Resortel. Thats where I usually stay

got back from my 2nd tour an hour ago and man am i depressed.will post some fotos later.any1 else really suffer the depression when they get back from thailand?
it ruins me for a couple of weeks.

I went to work today and was for some reason sooo happy & in a cheery mood...i guess it's because i get to go on holidays in less than a week. So, does anybody know how busy it will be at this time of year in October..??? I think the busier the better...yes?

i just got back jewelz and have to say it was extremely quiet,i nearly use the word dead,but it was still a great time and you will still have fun.

than me. I've still got 126 days or 3,024 hours (give or take ) but who's counting !All this talk about ice and Go Go girls legs brings back good memories I've almost changed my tickets twice just to get there earlier but I'll wait, not patiently mind but just wait!

Yeh, it takes me a good few weeks of depression to recover.....
The worst bit for me is siiting in the airport waiting for the long trip back and the cloud of depression to land...

Reading this site and planning my next trip always cheers me up though.... can't wait to get back out there, especially now its snowed over here for the first time this year

All you guys are saying such good things about this place...I hope that I will enjoy it as much as you. At the same time, I don't want to bring my hopes up and end up having a bad time....I hope that it will be busier in October..I think I will enjoy it more if there were more tourists though...just because I don't want to go to any empty nightclubs/ bars & restaurants, then it won't be as fun..AND, my g/fs won't get to meet the caucasion men that they're hoping for....what do you all think??

if you want busy clubs head for taipan or star world after about 1am and they usually pretty full.as for bars,there was very few bars that are actually really busy except mai thai of course

the gogo bars are norm very quiet whenever i have been.but it was generally very quiet.there will be plenty of males around,thing is you gotta prise them away from the thai girls and if you aint charging that shouldnt pose a problem

I get a bit of depression as i pass through Heathrow , but it tends to pass within a few hours , as I now book my flights in Thailand , the return burns a hole in my pocket and I am usually back in phuket within 6 to 8 Weeks , this will be my 8th trip since Jan. 1st coming up next Week.
Saw on another thread your reco. for Coyote Bar , I agree excellent bar , been my regular watering hole since last Nov.

it sure is my 2nd favourite bar after mai thai

i love the girls there and the manager is great to go out on the piss with.also surprisingly enough i just got an email from a girl that worked there when i was there in may,she is no longer a bar girl,she had breast cancer,this was confirmed by her manager and sister who still works there,and as a result she decided tio stop working.she is still getting over her sickness but she emailled me to say hi and that she would love to see me again,i hope to meet up with her when i come back in november for a week.she said she would travel down to patong to see me.i may just offer her a flight ticket from bangkok to phuket so she can travel down with me.anyway would people recomend against not taking her back or would you see it as a good deed,taking into fact i would like to see her again.
