There's no speculation required. If I was lady and somebody gave me 10 TIMES what I would earn in a day were I to go and work in a shop for 12 HOURS a day, and all I had to do in return was smile a lot; frequently tell you how hansum you were; laugh at whatever you say because you are a funny man; swallow all the drinks and food you put in front of me and give your "little friend" 10 or 15 minutes vigorous attention....I reckon I'd be extremely happy with this too.

kk kinda trippy! i cant wait to go back to thai land - it was like heaven on earth. this time im gonna have alot of cash to spend so im gonna hook up with alot of eletrical stuff and a few swords ect ect, for the record when iwas in tiger bar (fav place) most of the bars there would have 2 menu's where lady drinks were 180 baht or 140/150 depending on if u came back the 2nd night i guess :P, oh and i sussed out how to win connect 4 almost every time within about 15 minutes - that was a real laugh cause they would get so raged they couldnt beat me

quite interesting this thread. The most expensive soi is by far soi tiger.(not counting these few gogo's in sea dragon that charge 300 a drink).Even so its the busiest soi.Expats,semi-expats as well as tourists.There are many reasons for that.(1is that all the front bars owners have all had bars in patong long time before soi tiger existed...)

The biggest (maybe?) reason is entertainment.And entertainment cost money.To be in the most attractive area in any business u pay more,to have more more beautiful girls, u have to pay more.To attract girls to work in a bar many pay 50-70b commision per drink to the girls.If a lady drink would be 120b there wouldnt be enough profit for the bar.Simple as that.Some girls refuses to drink cheap vodka or sangsom in their drinks and wants b-52s or absolut in their drinks.A b-52 cost about 40b to make.add the commision we are close to 100b.how the hell could they then chage 120b for a drink?impossible.

However i do believe 200 is too much.just as some girls order two drinks at the time."can i have one b-52 and one orange juice?" bills 200+150. Thats a rip off, but as i mentioned above,still its the busiest soi,including expats,pundits,and returning tourists.so its seems it works....sad to say...

Its not a real drink(the lady drink), its usually orange juice with water or something dodgy like that, i dont mind paying 150 - 200, its about equal to drinks at home

to be honest if the lady drinks are 120, 150 or 200 - if you ask the lady to have a drink its HER choice what to have, mine only ever drank orange juice and at 120 a pop - what the hell, is that a big deal.....I dont think so.
I'd rather have a girl who is not fall down drunk at the end of the evening so we can both have some fun than one who is well pi**ed and usless - plus a lot of Thai girls dont drink that much.

Believe it or not there are girls that dont drink, but they still need to make their quotas of LD's. Whats the difference if its water or tequila your not drinking it.

I do have a problem with girls that get a LD from a customer and then walk away. I used to be always having a go at the girls for that.
