Lady drinks 200 baht
Since when have some bars been charging 200 for Lady Drinks? Until tonight most I think I've paid has been 150 though I rarely check my bill but did tonight cos in the 20 minutes or so it took me to drink my JD this girl got 2 drinks of me, got a bit hacked off that I wouldn't buy her another one and latched on to another bloke...and my bill was 560. Looked at it and 2 lady Drinks 400 baht. Even queried it with the bartender and she said Lady Drinks are 200.

Land of smiles, I think you have been ripped of, you live in Patong, you should know about the price of Lady drinks, when I was there with New year I paid between 120 - 150 Baht for a Lady drink, thats normal price

Yes Crazyswede his advice is o.k, just change bar and ignore the girls, I think land of smiles just was in the wrong bar and the boss of the bar was just trying things out about prices.

Hey guys,
This may come back and bite me in the ass but I'm going to be honest. In our bar, we charge 150 baht for a lady drink unless it's a cocktail. If it's a long island or mai tai etc, the lady drinks are 200 baht. Reason being, the cocktail includes a HELL of a lot more alcohol in it.... and, they can't drink as many. Some may be ok with it but I'm sure there are some that may not.... Best thing to do, check prices beforehand and determine if you want your lady in good condition for home-time or smashed..... |

Dingo's, 200 Baht for a coctail as a lady drink in a bar is reasonable , I pay at the beach for a coctail 150 Baht, but i dont think Land of smiles meant this, he only buys LADYDRINKS, no coctails

I would never ever pay a bar 200 baht for a ladies drink, what a bloody scam…..OH YES sorry its a cocktail,...a "ladies drink cocktail"… and what’s in that 200baht cocktail….watered down lemonade with a bit coloring to make it look expensive, which is probley not a bad deal compared to 150baht class of ice with a drop of coke in it.
Stuff getting scammed by these bars, if I sit next a nice bird I give her the 150,200 or even 500 baht in cash for herself….stuff the bar. These bars charging 200 and 150 baht must the utopia of bars with naked girls giving free head jobs, some of the best GOGO bars in pattaya, the ladies drinks are 90 baht…….yes 90 baht, and for that you get 20 to 30 incredibly beautiful naked, yes naked women. Yeah I was charged 200bt the other night aswell at the Jagger Bar across from Love bar.. Cant remember what she was drinking but it was not a cocktail anyway, I looked at the bill and didnt even bother to say anything, I just know next time not to buy a LD there, Actually will probably not drink there again as they also charged me around 180bt for a breezer aswell, So for 10mins if even that, My bill was 380bt... I can just imagine how much it would have been if the girl I was talking too's friend had not of stuck her nose into our conversation, Asking "How much, How much you pay her" and then start quoted me 2000bt and I didnt even bother replying, Just got up and checked my bin and left... I'll be sure to go back tonight and thank her friend

Ive never checked my bills really.... I always just put a a few 100 baht in the tin and that covers my drink plus lady drink....i know if it comes to about 2000-2500 baht for the night out its about right. I think i will make a mental note to check my bills.... Its either because i am a very stupid person (no comment here), Im to trusting or i am usually to hammered to really give a dam....

150 baht or 200 baht. Whats the difference? The difference is an extra £0.70 Uk sterling or $2.02 USD a drink to most of us. Are you really going to miss that? Its surely hardly a sum that most of us will notice, even when they start to add up. If only all 'rip offs' were so kind! Ok, I know that its the principle that counts and not the amount. But still, that said, if you start to call these amounts a rip off then put things in perspective! Maybe its different for those of you you live in Thailand and I appreciate that. But for the tourists, get over it. I wouldn't raise an eyebrow over a 200 baht lady drink. And I'm counting every penny in my savings for my next trip.
