Go Go Bars
Some help please!
I want to get it right! Don't want to piss-off the locals!  Is there a cover charge for the Go Go's. If so how much? Now! I may have it wrong - But a Go Go is where you sit and watch the girls strut their stuff "Right!!"

In phuket i haven't been to a gogo that charges a cover charge. In bkk some don't have a cover charge some do. Sometimes you get guys coming up to you telling you there's no cover charge and when you get in, sit down and order a drink, a lady will walk up and ask you for a cover charge.... Normally by this time the guy that brought you in has already left and trying o find him again is near impossible... So always double and tripple check. But in Phuket no worries. Oh yeah cover charges in bkk range from 200 - 300 baht for go gos and goes up to 500 - 600 baht for nightclubs like bed supperclub and Q bar

There is no cover charge. 'Showing' is illegal, but the girls 'strut their stuff' I guess. Beer prices tend to be reasonable but, if you allow any of the touts on Bangla to drag you into a bar your first beer might be expensive.
Take a walk down Soi Seadragon, Crazy Girls was my favourite this time, or up to Dragon Entertainment.

Lady drinks in gogo bars on Soi Sea Dragon are 140baht but remember to go in yourself, do not let the touts infrount of the street(on Bangla rd) guide you to any establishment as that means your be charged double to triple the normal price.....
beers should not cost more than 110 baht whiskeys usually 130-150 baht.
