thats a pretty good list. I would also add:
Silly Fools - remind me a bit of the Chilipeppers.
Labanoon - band from the deep south (Narathiwat) who were big a few years ago. I like them because thire music sounds a bit different (with some malay influences?).
Loso are my overall favourites.
i've never really heard of thai electronic music artists though i'm sure there are some. a few hip hop acts though, not sure if that counts.

There is this song I heard a lot in my past trip .. its mixed with thai and english, kind of an R&B hip hop song, a guy sings/raps it... any body with an ID? it had to be pretty famous, cause I heard it numerous times.
I know the description is beyond vague, but I dont know how else to describe the song.

Blackhead? Yeah i should have added them, they are pretty decent rock band.
Another band worth checking out are Modern Dog, not bad and really big a few years ago.

Hip hop with Thai and English? Without more info I would guess Joey Boy. The luk krung chick that usually appears in his videos is smoking

last time i was there it seemed like Thailand had been westernized to some extent in terms of pop culture...so the music probably takes from that. its cool to seek out some 'traditional' thai music aswell..more cutural.

Potato songs always seemed to soothe me granted I haven't kept up with their latest singles
*the original* Silly Fools from their Candyman album in the 90's to their last major release, King Size 2 or 3 years back (their lead singer Toe--signature sound split last year with some new Korean singer replacing him so don't care to listen to them now)
Clash (before they started releasing an album every two months becoming industry puppets)
Palmy is one of the best female singers in Thailand, a young luk kreung...she can really hit them notes that all young Thai girls try to emulate... granted she's not the one composing her songs I think...
Big Ass seems to get better with each album, though pitching a few of their songs to be exploited on a recent soap opera was a shady move if you ask me, nevertheless shooting them even higher into Thai fame
Bodyslam's albums shall definately not disapoint you, the kind you could blast real loud and not piss anyone off!
I agree what a previous poster said about Lebanon sound being unique and worthy of listen, though I'm not really sure what about 'Malay' influence cause I've never heard Malay music, but rest assured, Lebanon's songs are in Thai sung by young Thais even to the deepest reaches in the North and Isarn.
I personally like hip hop and the biggest following in Thailand these days is Thaitanium, which proved an alright sound but I feel they're not true to their roots enough emulating the New York sound /fashion way too much. Perhaps the most respected of all Thai hiphop representing his real roots was Da Jim back in the day. Haven't heard from him in a while. Joey Boy never got my attention but seems more like a business oriented fellow. Nothing impressive lyrical wise from my stance.
And finally, if you want to hear some raw Thai American underground tracks never previously heard by the masses, than be sure to follow the link to my website on my profile.. mostly electronic and hiphop original stuff, a lot of it bilingual too, all free, no obligations/voting/buying/promoting etc., just there for listening pleasure with the intent to inspire !
Cheers

Da Jim actually came down to Phuket to perform at a bar in Phuket Town called Q Spot (its now closed down).
First time i'd heard of him but he was actually pretty good. It was refreshing to hear a Thai artist diss the establishment instead of singing about love 99% of the time.
