Questions about BG's? and question about Patong resourt & Patong Hotel

Hello all, im new to the board and i have a ton of questions.. i appoligize in advance. I will be going to Patong Beach with my boyfriend for the first time March 2007 and im looking forward to every aspect of it. My b/f has always had a thing for asian women, and seeing as how i like beautiful women in general thailand sounded like a good place to go. Anyway...

-We are chosing between Patong beach hotel or Patong resourt hotel, we have been told these are closest to the night life and nice hotels. can anyone tell me if they are guest friendly or what the cost is to bring a girl for the night? Or have any other sugestions for a clean, nice sized hotel that is right in the middle of the night life and a close walk to the beach?

-Are there any places along patong beach where you can go to play with the girls perhaps in a back room where you do not have to bring them back to the hotel? I would like to watch at least one time, and join at least one time, but im sure on some occasions id like for him to have the chance to go do things by himself.. and i dont want to be wondering around patong alone while he is in the room. So is there somewhere we can go for this? What is the average cost?

Welcome to the board, as IJ says have a read and you will learn lots.

On the specific questions of hotels I can't help with the ones you mention. I have just come back from Patong and found the Salathai to be very good again, but there are a gazillion hotels.

For short time hotels, just ask the girls. They know what is available and you should expect a S/T hotel to be around 500baht.

Both Patong Resort and Patong Beach Hotel are NOT G/F.
I don't know their joiner charge but it is high.

I stayed at Patong Resort several years ago and the joiner fee was Bt 500 then!! I am sure it is a lot more now!!

Firstly Welcome to the board, there is heaps of information in the forum archives, so you will probaly find all your answers by doing searches.

I know the Patong Beach Hotel Well, as i have stayed here three times, absolutly fantastic hotel, great location and perfect for a couple ( i stayed here with GF) however it is definetly not BG friendly and they will charge you a 3000 baht fee for each BG you bring back per night.

Not too sure about the patong Resort Hotel Though .

There are heaps of massage places and short time hotels where you BF can get a little action.
My advice is not to go to the beach at night though....

Firstly I have also stayed at Patong Beach Hotel, in every style of room that they have, including the ones that are below car park level where,now, the whole wing is walled up post tsunami due to gohsts

I agree with Jayson it is a very nice hotel and very centrally located but as he says it is definately not guest friendly.

However, my suggestion would be for you to stay at Patong Villa...this is just as centrally located as The Patong Beach Hotel...it is just the northern side of Bangla about the same distance as the Patong Beach Hotel is south of Bangla, on Beach Road. It is a very nice hotel and one of their Sweet Suites will be cheaper than a standard room at the Patong Beach Hotel me thinks. It is also guest friendly so you will also save on not having to take a ST hotel.

Also I would suggest, probably more like the same prices of Patong Beach Hotel, is The Safari Beach Hotel...this is even 20 meters closer to Bangla than Patong Villa. Haven't stayed there but it looks very nice and very good reports on this forum about this Hotel.

It is always best to check with the hotel first and confirm that they are G/F
