Kind of a naughty question..

Ok so i have read a lot of rules about what not to do while in thailand and one that really sticks out for me is that you are never to touch a thai person on the head... ok so here in my question, what about touching a BG's head or hair during her "performance" at any time.. Is this considered wrong as well. Has anyone ever done it? As a female i like to reach down and perhaps brush a girls hair out of their face so i can watch them.. i mean i would never want to insult anyone or upset anyone, but i dont know if this is just an out of the bedroom practice or if you really should NEVER touch someone on the head/hair.. anyone?

It should not be done in a careless way, IMHO! Also it is the top of the head, not so much the sides, back, or front, which is to be concerned about. That is where the life force enters their body! You do not want to block the flow of life energy!!

May the force be with you and with your BG also. Amen!

I read that one before my first trip too, but it seems like a load of cobblers in reality. It's the most natural thing in the world, women always touch small children on the head, ruffle their hair, pinch their cheeks etc. Thai women are no different. Don't worry about that one.

Never personally ever had any problem but then we are discussing touching a girls hair in moments of intimacy or with someone you have are in an intimate relationship with.

Always respective of the rule but apply it to strangers or people I am not in an intimate relationship with.

As in western countries, someone patting you on the head like a pet is a major no-no. Touching the head (anywhere) during intimacy would not even get noticed, except in a nice way!!!

Lightbulb Respect

HELLO Jadexx...it is just a matter of common sense in SEA....

You never touch anyone on the top of the head in public as it is a sign of disrespect...and contempt....

When it is intamite in the bedroom and you are touching around the head...commonsense will tell you that this is ok....

As the other have said it common sense! Being a tourist area, im sure that they expect the inferoir Farang to break some of there social norms and values and cultural do's and don'ts!

But form my own experience, don't tap them on the head and say "McFly" either! As they don't know the pleasure of Back to the Future II

Just go with the flow!

Just for your information, the ar$se is one of the lower parts of the body and because of that not that important as the head. But you can try to stick your coxk in public in someone´s ar$se and wait for the response.

Depends totally on the situation..

My buddy went and patted the back (not top) of the head of the one legged cig seller in a matey way (like a hand on shoulder gesture) once.. The guy freaked and attacked him with his crutch while hopping (it was brutally funny) in kangaroo once..

i have found women I have been with to always like having thier head stroked while cuddling / intimate.. So its a situation dependant thing..

I also have read so many times about no hand holding or public affection but always have found that GF were more hand holdy then me wherever they were..

Most TGs love the handholding, but I don't believe they see handholding as DPA. It is the most natural thing in the world as they grow up handholding with their friends all the time, which is not at all a display of affection, but rather just normal way of sharing friendship. Walking with an arm around them is OK, too, since this is a normal display of protectiveness between a man and woman. Kissing and snuggling in public is a whole different matter. They really don't usually like to do that, unless maybe they are really mao, since that is more like slutty behavior to them.

I've heard that a few times, don't remember exactly where though but I've never had a one BG say anything about me moving her hair out of the way during the deed.

Matter of fact, if I can remember, a many of them moved me hair out of the way and spanked my bottom over the course..........

Having a few scrunchies on hand eliminates any hair problems. (just leave one on the night table) Should automatically be included in any well-prepared kit along with a few other essentials.

I asked the wife about the head-touching issue back when we were first dating. She agreed with the guide books that it is not polite to touch people on the head in general.

However, she said she loved it when I touched her head. It made her feel secure and loved, because parents and elders often show love to their kids this way.

So you might be careful about it when you first meet in the bar, or are together in a public place. But in private, she may see it as a sign of intimacy. You have to use your SuperMonger BG-Sense to know when it's appropriate.

On the flip-side, my wife was once scolded for touching my head, by the som-tam guy in front of our Bangkok apartment.

I knew the rule but I still did (by old habbit thou) and as soon as I realized I was touching their heads (as it came naturally and for me it's a sign of affection) I removed my hand and appologized but I never had a problem and they all said it was Ok and that they were very much OK about it. Nevertheless I don't remember doing it in public, the outcome might have been different...

I had to laugh when I read this Searanger...I can just see in your little 'essentials kit' now...condoms, lube and hair scrunchies LOL...

Scrunchies should now be added to the list for the 'Professional Mongering Kit'

LOL Nels...a scrunchie is a hair elastic which is covered with material..various shapes and forms of the scrunchie...Used to tie the hair in a pony tail...out of the way...

You could pack a plaitting machine in your kit...but having never seen such a device...don't know how bulky it is...this would keep the hair out of the way...but might kill the mood a bit by halting to plait the coiff if the hair's in the way !!!

A scrunchy is a much quicker solution to the problem and very compact and light to pack...
