Are any of you going to the new nightclub opening on 9th september, most opening nights for new places are good. heres there link Club 730 - Mixing fresh R&B, Hip-Hop, House, and Reggae music nightly. Located in Patong Phuket Thailand. Baz

According to the map, look like the place that change owners every 6 months or so. Its a very nice place, but its location dont draw any people in.

Deffo gay joint there tho and standard Thai interpretation of clubland a few years ago. Any addition to the nightlife that concentrates on better music is a bonus.. Even if it is a gay place its influence might help other places to get a bit more up to date..

At least now I have somewhere to say when im asked where is a place that plays R&B and hip-hop! Well apart from that strange pool place on Rat-U-Thit rd with R&B written down the side of it!

Location
According to the Andaman Post it is where Katoys R Us used to be in the entrance Soi leading to The Paradise Hotel.
It is more or less opposite Lionchai E mail shop.

House music and cheap beer
I went into VIP Asia the other night and they were playing house music so loud I could hardly hear myself order a drink.
They were also doing a Tequlia promotion of 30 Baht per drink - thank the gods that I only wanted beer.  I took Yahooka in there last night and they were still doing 30 Baht Tequlias!!! Anton does his own DJ -ing but had some other guy helping out.I am not a big house fan but if you were to go there you can speak to Anton you could get something going.It's not my style of music but I enjoy a beer on the way home and the staff are good.

Hi all.
Yeah, I have been there, and it is actually a pretty cool place!! Nice interior, LOVE the music, and videos on the wall, and even though it is placed in the mythful katoy-area, I have not seen any she-males or gay-ish at the club at my 7 visits. Now they have discounted drinks as you can read on the website Club 730 - Mixing fresh R&B, Hip-Hop, House, and Reggae music nightly. Located in Patong Phuket Thailand. - they did update the site. I will be there again on my next visit in November for sure!! I would definetely recommend the place..
