Phuket Nightlife - Orchard Tower

I will be spending a couple of nights in Singapore (Oct 9-11) and plan to visit Orchard Tower.

What is the going rate for LT?
I will be staying at the Conrad, anyone know if that hotel are visitor friendly?
Any other advise concerning the scene at Orchard?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

LT....between 100SGD - 150SGD

Conrad...not sure

Just a great selection of ladies from all over Asia.....including the mandatory LB's if your into that.

Hi, i think the LT rate is SGD 200 and above.
Mostly thais & fillipinos gals there.

For Vietnamese gals, you need to go to Joo Chiat.
For PRC Chinese gals, you need to go to Geylang.

Oh the four floors of h**** Its been ages since i've been there... I'll agree with Mav to a certain extent, can also go up as high as $250 - $300 SG.

I've actually never heard of a non guest friendly hotel in Singapore, just make sure the girl you pick up doesn't look like a 20cent Hoo*er and you should be fine.

The beer isnt exactly cheap either, think I paid between 400-600 baht for the beers if I remember correctly.

Can't remember but i think its between 10 - 12.50 Sing dollars for a beer, its even more for a lady drink, $S15 if my memory serves me correctly.

In Orchard Towers? I think it was more like 20-25 Sing dollars but I can be wrong.

I think you are mistaken Nicke. Its 20 - 25 for cover charge if you want to go into "top 10" top floor of four floors. And yes the cover charge gets you one drink. But if you purchase a drink once inside a beer will cost no more than $S15 i'm 99% sure about that.

I'm pretty sure l was paying 10-12SGD for drinx in OT......don't think l bought any LD's......l was in Sir Gez mode due to the high prices.

Ok, didnt know I paid any cover fees.

Regarding lady drinks, Me, Ead and Bafana went to a filipina bar (Somewhere, I dont have any clue where we was) and he paid a small fortune on drinks for them, was it 500 baht/each baf?? Great night anyway.

if your stuck there for one night, o.k. you can't help bad luck.
if you like "pretty" ladyboys or pigdog ugly women your in luck.
do one night there if you must but get the f**k out of there the next day, even if it's only a one night return flight to phuket. the money you will save (supposing your a drinker) alone will pay for the flight.
i thought i'd spend a night there in june for old times sake, sake rymes with mistake, reread and remember these words.
also, if you don't pull from the towers, DO NOT PULL FROM THE OLD ***** MAMASANS LATE ON THE STREET. go home alone, or better to spend s$300 and ring a classy escort. spending 100-150 for an absolute dog the mama will sleaze/sly/scam you into will ruin the rest of your tour, if your like me.
if your not like me then you still risk hating s'pore as all the girls ---ahhh **** it, you'll see.
my mate likes geylang. get over the towers thing you've got in your head.
we are hardcore, all my friends will never go to singapore again.

Last time I was in LOS I stopped in Singapore on the way to break up the flight. Never again.

Never seen a bigger contrast. Happy smiling faces in Thailand, and glum sour faces in Singapore.

How was the overall selection?

Selection in four floors ranges from Philippines, Indonesia, China, Thai, Viet, Cambodia. I don't think i've ever met a Singaporean or malaysian in four floors... The bar on the very top floor "Top Ten" i think its called is good. Otherwise another popular one is "Ipanima" decent live band as well. Coming in from Orchard side, up the escalator to the second floor, first bar on the right.

When I was over there earlier this year, I asked about guests at reception and was told that it would cost me the equivalent of 3 nights room charge to being in a "working guest". Must have been unlucky and picked the wrong hotel - can't remember the name, it's the one with Svensson's Ice Cream parlour at the front. Either that or because I booked the room at a counter at the airport and was on a promotion ?
