explaining a trip to thailand
how does one explain to 'politically correct' friends family and others that one is going to thailand to bang some bg's???
what do you guys tell your parents/and or girlfriend or wife for that matter when you leave for thailand... ?

i explain to people that they have to look through their own image of it being a seedy place and to look at the heart of the country,the people,the sights,the food ,the ambiaunce,the scuba diving and then i just wink and walk away
although i have to admit my farang g.f is not so convinced especially when i said i was planning to return Thai new year.

most of my friends and family no what i am like so soon as i get home all i get is how many birds you do and did you use a jonny.also a few of my mates who are married are desperate to get out there after some of the stories they have been told,as a result there wives hate me and my other mates who have been,and they dont let there men out with us.
oh well i enjoy it and i couldnt give a stuff what people think. steve

Interesting question!
Well, for a start, I cant be bothered with stuck up people who are 'politically correct', but if I encounter people like that at work etc, and they say to me
"I bet you are just going for all the girls!", then I always shock them when I stand there with a straight face and say - "No, actually im going for the small boys" They usually give an uneasy smile, and then I follow it up with - "Its criminal not to go when sex is only £7 for short time sex and £15 for all night!" All my good, proper friends love to hear my stories, and wish they could come with me. The best bit is my family. They are the most chilled out bunch you could ever meet. My sister buys me cannabis for my birthday and xmas, and my parents gave me 6,000 baht as a xmas present. My mam handed it to me and said "Here you are son. This will get your first few women and a few drinks" Cool or what? They (sort of) know what I get up to, and they know that I would still do it even if they didnt approve. The even better bit is when I am in the pub, and maybe a girl will hear that I am going to Thailand. A few times they have asked "Do you go with prostitutes?" and I reply "Yes". They then usually say "Urggh! Thats disgusting". To which I reply - "Well I would rather shag someone nice and slim and beautiful, than waste a load of money taking the likes of you out for a meal and drinks and have to listen to your crap conversation, only to be lucky to get tossed off at the end of the night" That shuts them up! T minus 10 and counting. C u all soon

i compete at muay thai so i used to palm it off as a training trip,but now i cant be assed to lie anymore and just tell the truth im going for beer and sex,obviousely the girlfriend still gets the training story!,and if any bloke in denied an ambition to go to thailand i would label him a soft bender!,and it still makes me laugh when i see loads of my mates swanning off to greece for the two week summer hols telling me what a good time they had!

U could always pick up Golf ( a great excuse to pop off to Pattaya) or ScubaDiving ( a great excuse to pop off to Patong, Phuket).
Or as a last resort.. a Jungle Trek... If your PC friends don't belive you are that keen on culture and history.. >  But if you lie.. remember that you gotta remember them when you come back home.

As Mike said,if you don`t lie from the start there`ll be no need to remember to do so when you get back. I have the same reaction from the girls at work but they know even though I don`t mention money is involved.It all amounts to the same thing. Good thing is they have all offered to supply me with our rubber friends as a going away/Xmas pressie
2 weeks to go and I will be there,roll on!!!!

I am a Scuba diver and a golfer, both are world class here in Phuket, but then so are the BGs. I Scuba dive and golf during the day and Boom Boom the BGs at night (actually having a rest day today - from sport that is). I am in Patong now and most of the BGs are a sweet as can be. It is the smile that gets me. They smile all the time, it is used as a greeting to everyone, even guys to guys. So you just melt when a cute little BG gives you a smile and she tries to say "Welcome". All your inhibitions and hang ups you may have had before you came will soon be gone within a few days. It is a very open society and I love it.

Today (Saturday) is a nice sunny/partly cloudly day with medium winds. There a not too many guys here at the moment and lots of girls. They arrive at the bars between 9 and 11 and then it starts to get a party atmosphere especially in Tiger, not quite as much in the sois (soi easy is dead).
I was in Soi Gonzo the other night and there were maybe 200 girls and only about 20 guys, then 3 guys walk in the the place erupts with "Herro, Wercome" (BG's change 'l' to 'r'). It was like rosters going into a henhouse. Needless to say, they were quickly consumed by BGs at a bar near the front and the noise goes back down, then more guys walk in .... Funniest thing I have seen for a while. For all you newbies who have not been here but reading and coming here soon (like I was a few weeks ago), I would like to set a few things straight: 1. It is much safer here than you might think. I have had no problems with getting stuff pinched or feeling unsafe in a seedy area. In fact, I would go the other way and say that the BG are generally straight up. 2. I generally pay 1000 baht for Long Time unless she is a real honey like last night I paid 1500 and she was worth. 3. Not all the BGs are that good in bed. I have met some honeys who lie there like a plank of wood, I have met some average looking girls who have blown me away, and then there is the rare one who is a honey and great in the sack. I am not wise enough yet to advise on how to pick them yet but generally the younger ones (18-21) are not experienced enough. 4. Not surprisingly, the BG's are people too. Some are boring to talk to and I usually move on quickly. Others are fun and the conversation moves along quickly and I find I have more fun and feel more confortable in bed later. So I have made an effort to get past the main 4 questions - What your nam? Where you from? How long you stay? Where you stay? 5. Many of the BGs are quite shy in the bedroom, covering themselves up before getting in to bed and then throwing the towel on the floor. No stress, it is just there way and you can talk to them about why they are shy if you like. SnowKoala
