Anyone know what happened to Legends Bar?

Legends Pub, the one down the road from Phuket Graceland Resort and also Swiss Palm Beach.

What happened to the bar?

I was in Phuket recently and stayed at Swiss Palm Beach, i walked to the bar and it was closed last Saturday, so i thought it was due to the holy day?

Then the next few days it remained close.

What happened? It's a nice place to drink before i go sleep, since it's nearby.

The new owner of the complex has closed everything down for now.He is a good friendly bloke (Swiss and Aussie background) and a member of the phuket HHH.

He is busy renovating the appartments to get them ready for high season.

I don't know if he intends to revamp the bar as well.

Aaah, thank you very much for the information. I thought it was closed down or something. I really like their weekly 100 Baht BBQ. YuMMY!!!

Hope i can drink there when i go again in December as it's so close by and i dont have to go to Bangla every night.

The Guesthouse complex that surrounded Legends changed hands a few months ago - see Crusty's post, and Terry and Dunny couldn't afford the new rent and closed a month or so ago, Dunny is still around for the time being but Terry is back in Oz. I'm sure Dunny will be back on his feet again - you can't keep a good man down. It'll be interesting to see what the new ownerships ideas are concerning the bar though.
