Phuket - what can I expect?

Ive decided to visit Phuket in March and I am wondering what to expect.

Ive already done Bangkok and Pattaya (http://www.phuket-info.com/forums/ba...d-report.html), but know nothing about Phuket. Id be going for a week and have a few questions.

1. What is Patong Grand Ville - Luxurious Hotel Bungalows Patong Beach Phuket Thailand like
2.Is Yorkshire Inn at Patong Beach, Phuket hotel near nightlife bars and discos in Bangla ok
3. is Patong Hotel & Restaurant Orchid Residence accommodation from 12 USD in Phuket Thailand ok
4. What are st/lt rates like
5. what is the veriety of girls like
6. is the place on a par with bangkok or cheaper
7. Any recommendations at all
8. Anybody else going to be in Phuket in the first week of march?

s/t about 500bht l/t about 1000bht or more plus b/fine2- 300bht-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
big variety of girls------------its genrally a bit more expensive than bkk i think -----------the yorkshire inn has a lot of brits staying there, the casa summer breeze opposite is better

Trust me, once you get there, you won't give a damn about... anything
Everithing is close there, cause tuc - tuc is allways there when you need one, and it's cheap.

You'll probably fall in love 10 times a day.

Prices? When you come from EU, you'll get a feeling everything's for free.

Recommendations? Drink slowly or you'll be in bed before midnight
