looks like im getting to patong on the second! ive played this like a complete amateur this time! the guys im travelling with are on limited funds and are quibbling about every penny spent,because i havent been for a bit has anyone got any suggestions on cheap accom ,possibly renting a house between four,ive tried to contact the guy that usually sorts it out for me but i cant get hold of him,any suggestions well be much appreciated.

this late notice its gonna be hard,i aint going to patong this time i am going to pattaya but i had a long hard search just to get a room,everythings pretty much sold out,so i guess patong probably the same.

Last time I was in Phuket I slept in a small hotel 2or3 minutes from Bangla Road if you drive a scooter motorbike. The hotel's name is called Gigie's or something. In may 2003 I paid 500 baht a day thanks to a freelance girl I know in Phuket.

I do not know if you know your way in Patong. At the end of Bangla road you drive to the left (over Rat U thit Road) past Vip and Tai Pan.

One of the following streets you go right a you keep following this road you even drive past the police station and you just keep driving straight a head past the bunjee jump.

It's a small hotel without breakfast, but the rooms are very light and clean, and it's a rather new pension. (even with a small swimming pool).

Ps last year during xmass holidays 2002 I had the same problem and I managed to book a single room with double bed at the Bayshore Resort Hotel. But this was +/- 2000 baht a day.
