Nughtlife Around Khaolak- Phang Nga Help Plaese

Hi Dear All,

I will be at khaolak PHANG NGA around 20 november. Would you recommend good places like disco, gogo bar , massage places etc.

Or what is the nearest good area for fun.

no discos or go-go's in khao lak mate,sorry.there are normal bars and you might find a massage exponent or two but the nearest nightlife like that is in patong 2 hours south.

Nothing at all.. Some very slow bars.. Some very quiet beach resort areas..

If your looking for nightlife at all then rebook.

Hey LiL....there was a couple of beer bars in the village just behind the resorts there pre tsunami days........however i think that the village was pretty devastated by the tsunami..........have they rebuilt the village.....???

Didn't stay there last Xmas as I didn't think there was any point.........just up from Patong by minibus in the morning out to the Similans............same same return.......I don't see any point staying upo there anymore really........

I havent been there at night in years (was there for a long weekend once pre Tsunami).. Passed through on a visa run a few times..

I think there are some beer bars, some regular style pub type bars also.. I would assume in those bars will be some women but of the local, older, rougher veriaty.. Even Ao Nang will have more selection etc than Khao Lak.

oh definitely.....ao nang has a reasonable scene these days......... in the high season only tho'........

I think that there was a big fight in Koh Lak between developers and villagers post tsunami and the developers were claiming ownership of the land and taking back the former village area for development....... asswipes
