Dragon gogo versus Rock Hard gogo
Just back from 12 nights in Patong. Before I went there was some forum discussion about the merits of these 2 go go bars. I have to pick Dragon gogo as the better of the 2. The girls in Dragon actually do a reasonable (clothed) dance routine and a scantily clothed soapy show. It makes quite a difference to see the girls moving on and off the stage in an organised way and most of them seemed to enjoy the dance routines. It was obvious more effort has been put into the club. I also thought there were more couples in Dragon enjoying the show. The girls in Rock Hard are just as nice but as there is no real dancing there is no atmosphere at all. They are just on stage to be eyeballed for the picking.

Dragon owns Rock Hard in every way.
Old dudes like Rock Hard as they play old rock music. A few girls are nice sure but its soooo lethargic in there I don't see how anyone can stay for more than one drink :/

Upside with Rock Hard is better service. Dragon, you are a little more like tourist cattle.
Upside with Dragon, is you can slip out the backdoor and up the stairs to the handy short-time rooms. Rock Hard, you are more on your own. On music, don't care as long as the girls move. Never like Ricky Martin till I saw the girls shaking in hot pants at Dragon. Nice!

Dragon is much better IMHO. It has many more girls, better music, bigger venue & stage, and no pressure. Service is good too.
Nothing majorly wrong with Rock Hard but just much prefer Dragon. HS

Dragon is preparing to expand also with the new stage area almost complete out near the pool tables - they certainly seem to have enough dancers these days.

I'm a bit surprised there is no option for a private dance / lap dance at any of the go go's. I suppose it's not legal ? When I was in BKK I had a ''private dance'' in the Dollhouse but it was far from private. The poor girl was stood on a table right by the upstairs toilet and all the guys were taking a good look as they went by. It put me off as well ! Private should mean private.
By the by, in Soi Cowboy (BKK) the best 2 bars showing the most skin were Long Gun and Dollhouse (quite a few fully naked girls). Long Gun did a real good dance show as well.

New stage area in the pool hall was fully operational last night with nonstop dancers and shows...same as in the main room...including the soapy lesbian show
 which I blame for me losing my pool match against one of the waitresses

The Dragon vs RH debate is sooo moot. Why even choose? So easy to include both places in one evening's tour. The real issue is....where do you go when you're bored of Phuket's two decent gogo's?
