Hi again, Just wondering if there is anyone who could shed light as to whether or not all evenings (which end up with a lady from the bar/nightlife scene) has to be "funded". Are there any stories or frequent occurances where the lady doesn't opt for money or is not looking for money? And thanks to all those who replied about the drinking/nightlife age enforcement, anyone who hasn't but has information it would be greatly appreciated. (The question being is ID required for North American who is 18)

There are plenty of occurances, Its quite regular for girls to go to work each evening and chose not to get paid for doing so.

If they don't ask still means you have to pay, sorry but thems the rules.

How about you work all week then your boss says sorry I thought we were mates, you mean I have to pay you.

You don't like to beg for the money from your boss or even have to ask him you just expect it.

Same applies to the girls they have got families to feed bills to pay etc.

Would strongly disagree with this I don't know one that if she had the choice between the two would go for the no baht option.

Over the years I have had a couple of times where the lady not ask for money.
Both times a story about the thai lady hear danish guys are very good in bed, and she want me to show her - so I'm a good guy and give her a night she will not forget

Sure, if you're strictly talking about bg's and gg's and fl's that hang out in the tourist sections, then it is P4P. But if you go down the paths less travelled, money may not be the first issue. Problem is you have to live there or work it out for a long period of time.

On my first trip to Thailand, I went to visit a friend that owned a restaurant in Kata Beach. I wasn't into the P4P scene THEN, and ended up hooking up with one of his waitstaff. I didn't pay her a dime other than tip her well when I ate there. She initiated things, not me. I was her second "farang". I think she would have been offended if I gave her cash in the AM. It was not unlike hooking up with a girl in the US really. However, in hindsight, I guess she was after something as she ended up marrying an Australian fellow a year later.

So, bottom line is, most girls there are looking for a return on their investment in time there when it comes to Farang....
