High End Jungceylon Massage
Caught wind of a new high model massage coming to Jungceylon. Same as BKK with only top-end girls. Was told there would be an overhead glass bottom swimming pool. Watch girls swim while another one works on you. Won't be cheap, but sounds awesome.
Anyone know any more about this?

Does sound like a dream come true.
Won't be in your face like Christine Massage. Won't be in the main mall retail area . I understood it to be in one of the other buildings. It will be high-end like in BKK so it will be more discrete. I was told this by a reliable person directly involved in the fitout, so I doubt it is just barstool BS. Guess we will have to wait and see. Last edited by ATMwalking : 19-12-2006 at 18:30.

Just think that it would be terrible PR for jungceylon and patongs newer cleaner image.. High end mall with a knocking shop and model gobbles..
All for it if it happens mind..

Not suggesting there will be signs with "Sexy Girls" in neon lights between starbucks and the burger king. For sure that doesn't make sense. Again, word is very high end , not trashy massage shop.
There is a spa at Central. Could be all sorts of crazy stuff going on in there, but you would never know while drinking your Starbucks. I guess I don't get the PR angle. Silom area is the most expensive land in Thailand despite/because-of Patpong. I don't think it really mattters. If it is on an upper level, classy, and discrete. Why not. The kids can still safely get ice cream. The visual purity of Jungceylon is also safe. Besides, if people are that uptight, patong is really the wrong place to visit. Crazy or brilliant, just hope it is true. Have to wait and see.

From what I understand, the place won't be ready for another three months like most of the complex.
jungceylon is hardly a paragon. Compared with paragon, the shops are on the lower end, but it offers a lot more in general. Hotels and entertainment. Entertainmet being a key part. Then there is location. jungceylon is at the head of bangla surounded by lady bars, cheap massage, and short-time hotels. Jungceylon will have bars and clubs that will have it's share of freelancers. It will be a new daytime pickup joint for tourists looking to meet board BGs out shopping. Jungceylon won't be an island of purity in a sea of sin. It shouldn't even try. Lot's of mixed use places/area across asia. I love it! Of the people that come to patong, who wouldn't go to a mall/entertainment/hotel complex because there may be a descrete men's health spa somewhere? Not to bang on The Fish's point too much, but how many family's go to patong for ice cream? The ice cream is there for the guys to take their latest girl for a treat. You are crazy to open a family place. You are going to see gold if you service horney guys and BGs with money to burn. That is patong and it is great. Take the kids to Central. Anyway thread is off topic. Would still like to hear if anyone else hears anything.

And OT or not, thats what threads are for.. Dual use is one thing, a bar that can be used to pick up in is not the same (to me) as a model gobble gallery with nudy swimmers designed purely for the sex trade. I could see a minor scandal if that was publicised and a lot of lost face for the jungceylon brand image. I also think Patong is moving into a much more normal destination.. The amount of couples, females, elderly, etc is every year on the rise.. I am not saying that girly bars will vanish but I really do think that the face of Patong is changing..

Now I see it as more women, couples, and "proper" thai girls are sampling the nightlife. They want to get a bit "dirty" and get a thrill. There was a women as part of a couple at dragon last night. Was eyeing me while I was chatting up a new hotty. Not dirty looks but more like cheering me on. Kinda cool. Girls are bar fining girls at dragon and other bars. Couples are grabing katoey, boys, and girls. I would say family is not the trend, but alternative lifestyles is. More are living the fantasy. I think that is awesome.

OK firstly I totally missunderstood what you were inferring.. I thought you were describing and 'massage' place like a pure sex establishment similar to the larger places in bkk.. Models, sideliners, etc.. Also my feverish imagination immediately ran to naked swimming girls..
I agree that the couples arriving now seem to be the more open minded couples. Agree that its now the alternative lifestyle people.. but feel the trend to cleaner and cleaner, its like they are the thin end of the couple to family wedge.. Could go either way and I also doubt Patong is ever going to be vice free..

My dad and I went into Jungceylon today to check it out and we were very impressed.
The building looks very nice, has nice sound system inside and out, the set up looks great. There's going to be plenty of restaurants too which will be nice. I saw (what I believe you are talking about) a high end massage place in there. I believe the name was Tikashi or something like that. Just like the high end massages you'll get in the resorts. Looking forward to it all being open.

No they're not talking about TAKASHI, they're on about an upscale Spa/Massage centre that's on one of the upper levels we can't go on yet.
If you looked at TAKASHI it's face treatments only. Steaming, cleansing, scrubbing, moisteurising and all that stuff. Not cheap....basic facial massage 550baht up to 1500baht for an hour ofthe Takashi Gold facial. Whole complex is mightily impressive. Carrefour was heaving with shoppers this afternoon. Look forward to the SFX Cinema opening.

THEY started talking about changing pattayas image around ten years ago they were saying they would close all the beer bars and go go bars now ten years later the number of bars in pattaya has probably doubled !
for a few years there were no go go bars directly on walking street they tried to go for a shopping image (boots the chemist branch amongst others) there was always soi diamond and the marine complex but now you walk along walking street and there must be around a dozen go go bars and several beer bar complexes the same will happen in patong because at thend of the day in thailand THE BHAT SPEAKS louder than the morals 5555555
