Happy Endings at Suvarnabhum
Lads; This is a bit off Forum but I dont know where to ask.
Anyhow, one of my farewell treats at Don Muang was to visit the Barber and Beauty Salon near the Transit Desk on the Arrivals level, and ask for a shave (wink-wink) and then walk out of there with an oil assisted HJ.
Does anyone know if there is a similar service available in the new airport? I'm not shy but its not the sort of question one asks at Airport Information !!!
Cheers
(surely you must know, LivinLOS)

BTW the girls working in the internet shops at the lower level are quite nice...maybe a chance when they have lunch

In Don Muang it was in the Salon rooms with the Western Saloon-type swing doors, tilted back in the dentists chair and her mate keeping watch ... a splendid way to start a journey and a wonderful souvenir from LOS.
Im a bit wary about asking an innocent masseuse if there is any chance of an "oily" when she's presented with what looks like the last turkey in the shop.
In the new airport there may well be security cameras everywhere ... having said that they may burn to disc and sell you a copy on leaving the salon !!

The last couple of times, I've been through Suvarnabhumi Airport, I've had an 1 hour traditional Thai massage in one of the massage places. I think there might be 2-4 of them total.
No extras were offered and I didnt ask. First time though, I heard a very dissappointed russian customer complain that he wasnt offered extras in the room across from me.
There are private/semi private rooms in the back, out front its all open for foot massages only.
You get to change into a 2 piece pyjamas. So no nude massages, like in Patong's Soi Kepsub, Nanai Rd, etc...

Maybe you`re lucky and can go back to Don Muang.
Today in a Belgian newspaper there was a small article about the new airport.
The Thai government is thinking about closing the airport again for some time.
Due to problems with the tarmac wich were mentioned in another thread by Stevem. Problems with electronics etc (not yet on point) and some problems with licences that were gained in strange circumstances.
Don`t know what wee can believe of it.

I think there is one in each end of the long duty free area, close to where each of the Thai houses are. That would make it at least two.
I could be wrong though, I didnt explore it, because my departure gate was close to the same one both times. So thats where I went.
