Spotted this a couple of nights ago with its lights on and customers sat down in the ground floor level..

Again past tonight and it seems that they have not subdivided it into beer bars but left it as one large place (easy to subdivide later) done out in tiger style..

Was flying by on the bike or I would have snapped it but it id looking open already..

Not sure how true but was talking to someone today who told me that they were putting the downstairs to a restaurant and the bars on the first floor????
I noticed that there is a fish display thingy on the ground floor so this could be correct but if so it seems to make no sense to me.

Why have the restaurant on the ground floor, with few or not many customers, especially during low season and the bars on the first floor, then the upper three floors are hotel/ short time rooms, they will surely get all the noise from the bars, all of this seems crazy.

It has to make sense to have the bars on the ground floor, doesn't it?? and has anyone heard if anyone has been offered a bar there yet?/

It looks 'resturanty' to me also.. There were conventional tables between the tigeresque support columns..

I think its going to have to evolve into bars.. Perhaps its all pat of the timing that was theorised in other threads.. If it was bars now they would need to be sold now.. Maybe thats not the plan..

Also was thinking, could do quite well out of a floor of pool tables.. Good daytime pickup spot which town kinda misses.. That in turn feeds the bars through foot traffic.

i hope it last a short time because soi jintana is where the guesthouse is where i stay when in LOS no need the hectic and noise need the quiet, and why do they think we need more bars, we need only better ones.

WHERE IS THIS NEW complex i stay at the kn guest house which is in soi jintanna how close is this place to there ? not that i am worried in any way i am just interested

WHAT ROAD ? it cant be where soi jintana meets rat u thait because when i was there in july there was no building work taking place there and thai builders dont produce new buildings in only 6 months 5555555

IIRC, where Soi Jintana joins Rat-u Thit Rd as you go in, there were a few small m/cycle hire shops,hairdressers etc on the left, a few small bars/cafes and a travel shop on the right, and then you reached the sharp left hand turn that led to Jintana hotel. On the right they were building a large extension on the back of the Thara Patong Hotel over a year ago, so I still can't visualize exactly where Tiger2 can be??

Is it beyond this work and closer to the Jintana?, as there was a lot of spare land in front of the hotel.

Its big.. The multi floor aspect will make it very large but low foot traffic.

Its on the entrance to Soi Jintana, on the right side. I think it was a beauty/massage/travel shop there before. So Tiger Inn face both rat-u-thit and Soi Jintana.

IT wont stop me staying there anyway the addition of this complex makes no difference to me might even improve the place especially if a few of the bars are opened daytime and there is somewhere decent to eat as i dont like going to far away from the pool in the daytime !

What??? Are they already finish/almost finish with it? Boy they build fast..... I was there less than a month ago and the place was no near finished....

Hmmm there's a travel agent here that has good flight and hotel packages (Jintana Hotel is one of their hotels) meaning more bars near the hotel would suit me fine

..... Or maybe not....

I saw it had about 20 farang in it on newe years day (if my memory serves me correctly). I was shocked that it had already opened.

Looked OK, but that entire Tiger theme is just horrible (IMO). Looks so 80's and crude.
