Bangkok's 'Cave' raided

According to today's Bkk Post, Bangkok's 1st ever (afaik) S&M club was raided shortly after midnight by the police led by deputy interior minister Pracha Maleenond. Under the new entertainment venue law, the bar can be closed for up to 90 days and the owner jailed for up to a year and/or fined up to 60,000 baht.
There was an S&M show going on in which punters could whip or pour candle wax on caged women or have the women do it to them. The upper floor seems to have been used as a knocking shop.

I have a nasty feeling this is just the 1st and all too soon all the more 'unusual' nightlife will be banned and there'll be nothing but bog-standard girlie bars. Even if S&M's not your scene, I think you still have to regard this as worrying.

What happened to the punters

Hi Swishtz,

Im sorry, but your information is wrong.

The punters in the S & M club were beaten on their bare backsides by the police, with short wooden sticks.

This made the punters very happy indeed, and they all gave the policemen a 100 baht tip

You may have solved the police funding problem!

BTW all my gay mates just love those uniforms the motorbike cops wear, with the tight jodhpurs...

Send a message via ICQ to Nicke
I have never been there and have no intention to visit them but I know them because they advertise in Bangkok Post everyday and I checked out their website once. I think entry fee is 900 baht or something.

My gf told me about this raid because it was on TV News few days ago.

If you are in Bangkok, there may be other interesting bars at Soi 33 aswell; Napoleon club, The office among others.
