as i was reading mike's tread; 'sex,telephones and bargirls' with great interest a question came 2 my mind as i red the following part;

'We PAY them to make us feel good. We PAY them for sex. Would all these girls really talk with us and sleep with us if we werent going to pay them?

Obviously, there are some exceptions to the rule, and I will be the first to say how happy I am that some people have made relationships work, but remember that you are entering the realms of the 'sex industry'. WE make the industry, just as much as the girls do'.

We all know what BG's do to make a living, and most of us are well aware of the danger follows when falling in love with a BG. Still, many farangs start relationships with BG's defending themselves with the story; 'she is diffirent'. Many are not, but in fact they are not all one in a dozen.

Here is one story of an exeption happend to me. (well, for the other guy it was the exact BG/i call it stickmann story).

It was low season 02 when the last 2 of my 6 weeks began. A certain night i was heading out for the Tiger disco. Came in,ordered my first heineken, a girl suddenly came up and talked with me (ow man, what kinda pimp am I ).
She talked about a girl (pointing at her) and asked me if i would have a chat with her, so i said, why not? She was looking hot 'n spicy, with long curled hair and a slim body.
So we talked, talked and she kept ordering for me whatever i wanted, she refused to take something from me, she was lucky i am not a great drinker so i stoped at 4 bottles.
Disco time was over, was a great night, so we headed outside, walked down the stairs of tiger entertainment, so i asked her what she asked for the night
She said something like... excuse me?.. what the F do you think (she also spoke very proper english.) She invited me to go to her hotel, really confused about the proposal i agreed, thinking what the F happend 2 me
So my last 2 weeks i banged the shit out of her, stayed at her hotel, with privat swimming pool and had great fun with this chick.

Later i found out she had a big sponsor and could do whatever she liked, she is still married to an english guy, she also showed my their picture when they married.

Anyway, they were my cheapest 2 weeks ever in thai and i enjoyed it experiencing it in some kinda different way

I know a girl who has 2-3 sponsors and together gives her a good monthly income, she stay home and don't work in a bar, but partying around with Thai guys instead. (With this money she is the King, she can 'buy' herself good looking young boys)

Why shouldn`t they take advantage of all the tourists who give their money. The BG`s got a short period to make as much money as possible. At least overthere you know what they do. In other parts off the world there are callgirls and gigolos who charge even more and are they any better than the averge BG. It`s just the same job only another wrapping.

These are very tricky ones when you are a softhearted naïve farang falling in love with these little brownies (no offence, almost everyone learns it the hard way)

So on my last trip i had a girl, a FL from tai pan who said she was here on holiday. Also staying in a hotel.

In fact she did, she stayed at a hotel close to the market, i always call it the moon rd because of the bad condition of it, the road to Nanai, i guest the hotel called Tana Patong and she lived in Trang. Afterwards i heard she was in Patong on holiday very very often

So she stayed a few days with me and only cost me only a few drinks, and i said goodbye to her,

yeah i know 'the rules'. and not always playing cheap charlie, but if some wanna lie, go ahead, but from last trips i learned a lot and not let me get fooled quickly again, so sometimes it's also a sweet revenge.
Wanna play the game, it's ok... but i also play one, the risk is all theirs

hehe, just somtimes it's kinda funny to fool them back, but usually don't do it, because what i also said before in other treads, we all know they need the money to live, although some have too much and make the fool out of us... so give 'em back the thinking they can fool us all and we r all stupid walking ATM's ... but some get's some extra's if i really care
It's easy to pick out the cold hearted experienced ones and the ones whom try to survive n have a hard time...

The bit where they don't ask for money and leave without any used to always get me confused and feeling guilty - but I now know its a trick to get in for the long run cash haul so I just say bye... You guys are right the girls are playing a game and you have the choice how to handle their tactics.

Lets face it guys they are women after all, except for some trombone players running around the joint, and women all around the world do the same thing. They give you something 'special' and then expect the world in return.

The soft hearted out there, which I used to be part of would say but they are so poor etc, etc, etc. Bullderdash!!!

These girls can get money and help their families working like the other 95% of Thai women that don't prostitute, but not as much in such a short time. They are in it because they can get the cash quick and live the easy life rather then work in a shoe factory and know their morals are intact(Goes the same for most of the girls working in Australia right now as well). So what if they have to suck a different farang knob every night for the next two years - They will have earnt the equivilant of a life times wages or more and thats what they do it for.

Thailand is not so impoverished and wrecked with war, famine and pestilance that they need to put out to get a bowl of rice.

And in short thats why I go there and to other areas in the region to enjoy because I know on the most part they do from choice. Sure there are instances of the sex slave trade and what not but in paces like the Soi's of Patong I don't think you need to worry about that (Unless maybe even Nicke is under investigation by Interpol for being a major link in the chain that is the thai sex slave industry).

Sorry Nicke, can beat that, I know a girl that has 6 external sources of income, and she was still dancing at the time. It was really interesting watching once when 3 of them were in town at the same time.
