Goodbye Bangkok-Hello Phuket

Well this is a continuation of my thread in the Bangkok forum.

The last two nights in Bangkok were as usual hectic
3rd night I met up with an American and his Thai female friend who live there and the beergarden was full as usual. We ventured to another bar where a Canadian regee/jazz group were playing; they play some excelent tunes. Meanwhile I was getting merrily drunk. Back to the beergarden and then made our way to Angels disco. On the way this guy shares a ****** with me and then into nana disco and tequila shots keep coming. By this time it's getting to 1.30 so I need to line up a girl for the night. Trouble is every time I go off to do the deed this American's friend keeps following me, every time I sneek off ......she pops up. So I told her either you leave me alone or you stay with me tonight. She chose the later and off we go to get something to eat. By this time I can hardly stand up so she is proping me up and leading me to fcuk know's where, can't remember eating and it must have been gone 4 o'clock when I finaly get her into bed.
As much as I tried she just wouldn't let me bang her, said she wants to get to know me.
This is Bangkok for God's sake. if I wanted a girlfriend I would have stayed England. Threw her out at 7......too late to go out and find replacement. Talk about frustration

Last day - so up and out to beergarden for 1pm and pick up FL who's name I can't remenber. Paid 1000 for 2 hour ST. Could of been longer cos she just wants to bang all afternoon but I need some sleep.
Woke up showered and out by 9 and decided to sit in the bar opposite Nana plaza enjoy few drinks and watch the girls plying for trade in the carpark.
Into angels for 12 and who do I bump into but the girl from night before
So I'm dancing away trying look like I'm on my own but she won't leave me alone. But then...........rescue comes. Tab a girl I did LT from 2 nights ago comes bounding up and throws her arms round me saying she miss me and can I go with you tonight. The other girl kicks me up the **** and storms off.......result So back to loom for an excellent all nighter, she evens helps me to pack next morning and during breakfast gives me her number and wants me call her when I'm back in Bangkok in 3 weeks. We'll see
So it's off to Phuket!!

Patnut - I paid about 40 quid return with nokair.

There are plenty of hotels listed on this forum. If you wanna be near the action in Bangkok look for a hotel around Sukhumvit Road.

Nana Hotel is a good choice.... Also Majestic Suites or Dynasty Inn... These are all near the NEP and walking distance to Soi Cowboy, Beer Garden, Gullivers.

If you search the forums like I did before your trip you will find all the hotel info you need.... I did 5 days in Bangkok and a week in Phuket last month....

Already planning my return in August.

Yes, I can only echo what sarsbuk has said.

If you want to be right near the "action" book "Majestic suites, Nana hotel" or one of the nearby hotels.
If you are after female company you need to ensure it's "guest friendly".

A good place to search for Bankok - Phuket flights:-

http://www.phuket-info.com/forums/ac...tml#post274045

Flights will cost you around 40 pounds upwards

Pretty much all the information is available on this forum if you do a little searching around.

If you are in Bangkok, or in Phuket, and want a flight-ticket, go to those small local travel-agencies and ask ( check with a few different, they do operate with different prices ).
Prices vary from 1900 baht to 3500 baht, one way

Your hotel may also help you with tickets, I usually stay in Stable Lodge in Sukhumvit, Bangkok, and they have arranged for tickets for me many times there.
