Hello.. Im in thailand right now. been here for one week and ive already been together with 2 bargirls, but that was not really my intention from the start.. hehe. Im trying to find normal girls who are looking for normal guys. No more pay-to-play girls.

Ive heard about a place in Phuket Town called Timber. A Tuk-Tuk driver told me about it and he said something like that all the young thai people go there and listen to thaimusic etc.. have you been there?

I've met what could have been normal girls in LOS, but then again, who knows? It's sometimes a fine line and I've usually found it very hard to tell. I've had more luck with 'normal' girls in other parts of Asia, such as Japan and China, and even Australia.
Where I go to Uni in Melbourne reminds me of Thailand because there are absolutely thousands of hot young Asian girls in skimpy clothes having a great time.

i have been to timboo hut, or something called like that... maybe it's the timber you mean, but if the tuk tuk driver said that he was right, many young thai ppl go there, i was there on friday, my gf said also some bg's around in that place, looking 4 thai customers.
Nice pub with stairs to an upperfloor, groundlevel space 4 dance and live band.
When i was there on friday (07/03) they had a live band played great music, thai guys as well a farang played.
Go there if you wanna see the other nightlife than Patong.

Going home to work after that. Gonna be working like.. 4 months, I'll save every single penny and then go back here solo or with some friends. Gonna stay for at least 1 month or as long as possible then. :-) Of all the places in the world I've been at, Thailand is #no1. I really love this place.

Michael, yeah it must be Timboo. The tuk-tuk engine was roaring loudly so i couldn't hear the driver very well. you make it sound really nice. I'm going to Timboo on Friday or Saturday.

if you wanna go on the prowl for more normal girls then head to kata.still some bar girls but more normal tourist orientated and some fit girls to be pulled there.in may me and a few mates stayed there and hooked up with some american students.
good laugh but they where right sea donkeys so later that night it was back to patong for some bg action and something a bit easier on the eyes .still any holes a goal right??? :p

In Phuket Town The timber are a good spot to meet young thai girls !!!
There is live music ( very laud) but good. Another good place in Phuket Town
is The Red Indian , almost the same as Timber but not so dark Live music to.
I have been there 2 -3 times ok i think.

The place is called the Timber Hut in Phuket Town. I have had several nights out there. Each time it has been very crowded although it was around new year. I actually chatted to some thai women there who weren't on the game, at least not that I could see (eg not grabbing my stool pigeon or asking for drinks). Mind you I treated them very suspiciously. I had a thai business woman take me there. She had no idea I was a bar hopping sleazebag. She lived in a mansion in Kathu. Quite a nice change really. I've pencilled in a couple of nights at the timber hut for my next trip in April.

Timber Hut is ok, but a bit loud. Didn't stay long enough the one time I went (Saturday night), but it seemed altogether much MORE like a Western pub/bar/club. Probably fun with a date, but no where near as fun a Patong...

Well, 2 days ago I was introduced to a 'Normal' girl via my Thai friend who
has a tailor shop.
