I'll have to to get in and try some. The food was always excellent in Faultys but after drinking the draught Heineken in the Irish bars I gave it up as a bad job.

Mmmm.. No disrespect meant but its not what I consider a pub to be.. A pub to me is an enclosed area, Not an open one, A bit of live music at night, Good grub, And more times than not has the footy on a big screen... Nor would I class the Islander a pub either, Both are more like Bar/Restaurants.. And both good places in there own right...

I will have to Check You Out
Sorry Faulty
I have been to Phuket for almost 20 years but I have never been to Your Bar,
I have spent many a late night at the Ex Pat eating beans on toast and watching movies like the Cannonball Run.
I must try a bit harder and come and look you up.
Best Wishes
Drew

I remember reading that in an online magazine or something a few months back.....Now that we are in high season, is it 24 hours again or is that gone forever?? No late night movies is bad, Bad, BAD!
Last time I was at the Expat (Songkran 2K5) i gave my copy of a stephen leather book to someone...a HHH member i think. Just wondering if you know who thats likely to be as I have read the entire collection (i think) since and would be happy to move them someone's way who may find them useful.

I second that Marc26.
Stopped in a couple of times, my last visit to Patt's. (Sunday roast, my last night in town)
I definitely like the feel of Faulty's, in Patong.

"Normal"??? service is back on for high season .
As for the book , it has probably passed through about a dozen pair of hands and ended up in Faultytowers Bar. A lot of the guys bring books over and when they've finished with them leave them in the bar for others to read , basically there is a mini "lending library".
I am sure Crusty and the guys would appreciate any "new" reading material , if there are any specific requests , I usually bring them over when on holiday.
