I'll go to Patong next months and I have some questions about the nightlife:
Which is the best place to find pretty and smart girls ( disco, gogo bars, etc...)...some names.
I must pay the bar to go out with a girl?
The girls are available to do everything (BJ, a..l, ...)?
How much I must pay a girl for a night?
Which is the best month to visit Phuket?

most girls in patong are pretty and believe me all of them are SMART.......
go to the Mai Tai Bar in Soi Eric to find some lovely girls......the owner Nicke is a top guy and he will take care of you [ he runs this forum ... ]
as for discos.taipan is a cool spot.........some lovely FLs in there.........
the most you should pay for a girl is 500 ST and 1000 LT......
every months are good in patong........
i return for tour 9 in july.a quiet month but lots of extra BGs - FLs for me...

taipan is a club at the end of bangla road.quite good.i prefer tiger club,but also dragon is now open.
bars will charge you 200 baht to take the ladys.its called the barfine.
st=short time=usually a few hours.
lt=long time=normally all nite.

200 baht Ive always had to pay much higher fines than this in Patong! Am I being taken for a ride???

i have never payed more than 200 in a bar,about 500 in a gogo.so if u in a bar yes u being taken for a ride

Typically I have paid 250 for bar fine. Of course, you know that the BG gets half of this and the bar gets half. Also, girls get a cut of every drink you buy, something like 40 baht.

can any one confirm the above.............

250 b bf is possible... never paid... i only know about the rate of 200 b bf and 500 bf a go go

as far as i know, i i am quite sure, a part of the bf is for the girl and a part a ladydrink is also for the girl.

i dunno about the barfine but the girls do get a cut of the drinks bought for them.

I pay 40 baht to the girls for lady drinks, some bars pay just 20 baht. For bar fine, I split 50/50 with the girls, that is 100baht to me and 100 baht to the girl. If the bar pay for the room they usually keep all money (200 bant).

Barfine is 200 baht in most bars, some bars charge 300 baht thought. Especially at Bangla I think. There are always exceptions. Most gogo bars charge 500 baht, but keep in mind they pay salaries for the girls.

I can only assume you have never been thailand before my friend , you will see beautiful girls in patong from the moment you arrive to when you leave , the girl in the pic is fairly nice but you will see far hotter babes than that when you reach soi bangla for your first time , make no mistake about it

I never been Pattaya mate, but i know its often labelled as ''bangkok on steroids''. im tempted to try it but some guys say that it has well over 2000 bars and gets a bit much to cope with after a while , you can feel that way sometimes about bangkok too which i have visited , i like patong because it has just enough bars and go-go's without ''doing your head in'' also, phuket's beaches are a lot more scenic than pattaya and the whole scene in general in patong is much more laid back ....it has a place in my heart

If you have never been to Thailand, please note that in a lot of hotels you also need to pay a joiner fee if you take a girl to your room to spent the night with you. Some hotels charge 300 baht, some nothing at all. Incase you did not yet book an hotel, you can have a look at the hotels which are highly recommended by the regulars.

Thai girls are very pretty and are a lot of fun as well, I'm sure you will have a great time in the Land of Smile.

I remember the first time I was walking over banghla Road at night, I felt like a kid who arrived in Disney World...

Many hotels in Patong now charge up to 1000 baht joiner fee. SHOCKING!

So pick your hotels wisely otherwise your gonna get stung fellas (and ladies?)

Good Advise I could have taken at least three more grils for the money I spent on joiner fees last time(Patong Lodge).

I will definetly be hitting a GF Hotel next time.

I have stayed at C & N Hotel on numerous occasions, the last time being /April May last year. Great Hotel! No extra charges for ladies, and very close to the action (Soi Bangla)

I will be in Patong around 15 April (next month) for a couple of weeks. I will be arriving in Bangkok on 8 April, and thought I might either spend a week in Pattaya, or fly straight to Phuket and spend a week in Karon or Kata first.
I definitely intend staying a C & N again whilst in Patong.

Last time I paid 4400 for a round trip Bangkok - Phuket - Bangkok with Thai Airways. I booked this overhere in Belgium.

I guess the difference is not quite big if you book at home or in Thailand, but I'm not sure.

Anyway it allways used to be very easy to move the days you are flying in Thailand, which can be quite handy sometimes.

yes you are being riped off.
i've only ever paid 200 baht bar fine.
if it's any more then that, the rest is for the bar girl.
Another thing for me is if you buy a bargirl a drink make sure it's a proper drink and not just quash or cola ect. if it's a proper drink they drink it a lot slower, if it's just quash ect they drink it twice as fast as you.

Can I have problems in the airport (custom) if I travel without a tour operator?
And is dangerous travel in this way in Thailand?
Using a normal bus to go to Pattaya...etc...

no problems i travel on my own by ba and just get flight to bangkok and deal with all the other stuff when i am there.if you fly to bangkok,on arrival go to the domestic terminal and goto the thai or bangkok airways ticket desks and get your tickets for pattaya/samui or phuket there.they always have seats available except december and january when it is worth booking in advance.
travel in thailand is generally painless and hassle free,just depends how cheap you wanna do it regards the comfort level.

February is an excellent month to visit Thailand. In feb March 2003 I just had 1 drop of rain in Phuket and Koh Samui. I have also been in Phuket in May and December, and as far as I am concerned february was the best time.
Phuket was not to crowdy and weather excellent.

Travelling in Thailand is not dangerous according to me, i never experienced any troubles. i only did one organised tour and than you do not have as much freedom and you are stuck to the tour operator schedule.

I also book most domestic flights in Thailand direct in the airport, it's a lot cheaper, no go between fees. Only sometimes you need to book an extra night in an hotel or wait a few hours. If I have to wait a few hours I just drop my luggage at the airport and take a taxi to the city centre.

I have never been in Pattaya so i do not know anything about Pattaya.

EVERY MONTH IS A GOOD MONTH TO VISIT LOS...........
THE MONTHS MAY CHANGE AND THE LADIES MAY CHANGE BUT YOU STILL HAVE A SUPER TIME REGARDLESS OF THE MONTH YOU TRAVELL.......

Make sure you allow the girl the opportunity to let the bar know that she wont be fronting for work for the next few days, and will pay bar when she returns. Some bars get a bit pissed at the girl for not letting them know
