Just saw this in Phuket Gazette ...
Phuket Gazette - online English newspaper for Phuket, Thailand, with daily news, classified ads, yellow pages, business listings, upcoming events, event calendar, phuket events Could need clariyfing but looks like will be enforced

Bee has been saying this for days.. I think they have relaxed a bit on the royal days but Buddha days are still more enforced ??
Still note that its 'requested' so does that mean you can deny a request ?? I mean either its a rule or not.. all this requesting thing is a bit silly..

HAS anybody got any info on friday april 6th i believe that is chakri day does anyone know of possible bar closing on that day
will be a bummer as i am in bangkok that day !
