MAV as you know i am a pattaya regular same as you i agree with most of what you say but 2 points there may be lots more girls in pattaya but in my opinion that means more plain girls (i am too much a gentleman to say ugly 5555555) also a lot of the go go bars especially in walking street have the same basic fault when you enter you get hit on for lady drinks imediately your ass barely touches the seat before you get hit and usualy by one of the not so nice girls so when you refuse you have to leave because no other girl will then come near you !
i have never had this problem in bangkok either n/p or soi cowboy its a peculiarity of pattaya !

Have to go with Dragon also. Tried Suzy W’s a few times but not even in same league IMO. Ok, maybe SW is more of a “going-with-a-group-of-drunks” kinda thing, but the quality was rather erm… lacking?
Don't like being hit with rubber thingies either for that matter. For a first-timer, deffo hit Dragon first. (Although I wish they could reintroduce the icecold Tiger drafts at 65 BHT a glass…)

im not much of a go-go guy, unless its NYC(no other place ive been to in the world know how to treat customers like NYC strip clubs)
Dragon-maybe i havent been with the Dragon clan but dont find that place sexual one bit. i do enjoy it though, but really just for a few drinks with the gf after dinner Suzy Wong's-i thought the girls were horrendous the one time i went in there but had a great time kicking the crap out of each other with the hoses Crazy Girl's-we had a blast in there last time i was in there. the girls were really fun

anyone who says that Patong has better gogos than either Patts or BKK either hasn't been to these places or needs his/her head read......
Dragon would be near empty if it were in either place and SWs wouldn't exist IMHO having said that I don't go to ggs to pick up gals and don't find them sexy or even slightly arousing....but they are a good place for a drink with the lads or a quiet look at another way of life.....OK perve....if by yourself....

Was with some of the crew last night at Dragon. Even factoring in it kinda being a generally off-night vibe, Dragon wasn't working for me.
The newest recruits into the BKK Hotties gang wasn't at the same level as before. But the stand-off attitude was there. And that attitude is getting old. Plus there show was really quick and kinda normal. My love affair could be waning a little... For the regular girls show, it was getting too thai cabaret for me. More like something you'd see in a hotel. Had a thai guy dress up and dancing with them. Didn't work for me. Couldn't see the regular waitresses. The other ones were pushing way to hard for big tips. Like I said, was generally an off-night but didn't work as well as normal. We had one drink and bailed. A first. I'll still be back anyway...

I had fun in Dragon, nice friendly girls and lots of em. Some quite stunning ones also. I spent most of my time drinking at The Queen of Hearts in the back of Tiger.

I would also say that the Dragon is the best. I was there 2 weeks ago and they had the ''super models'' show on. It's in a separate room at the top of the stairs. 300 baht to get in which includes a beer. It's a decent strip show for about 1 hour and they get fully naked which is a nice change for Patong. The lead dancer is a real cutie. The show finishes at about 2300 hrs so you need to get there about 21.30 I would say.
