Bars just for blokes? Grr.
Are there any bars where you can "hide" for women? You know, like bars back home, where you get beer, banter and football - and no women bothering you all the time. Almost all bars I see have women lurking, ready to pounce, on the next poor sap who wonders in for a quiet pint.
Too many birds in LOS. All my life I've been looking for "mythical bar" - one that is absolutely full of gorgeous women. I've always been convinced it exists. Now I've found it, I find I yearn for bars with other men. Explain that one! So, where are the bird free bars in Patong?

Faulty Towers on Soi Sunset fits the bill I suppose... No one there barfineable!
 (Not to my knowledge anyway.)Its Ran/owned by two BM's on here. Its does good food also and there is usually a few other BM's hanging about...

I know how you feel! Sometimes one just needs to relax.
Well there are bars in Patong without "working ladies" but I would doubt very much if you could find any bars without girls at all. Unless of cause there should be a gay bar somewhere... But I guess it's not quite that you're looking for either. And even if it was, then this would properly be full with thai boys who would be just as anoying as the tg's - when all you want to is to "relax" in good company. But actually I would recommend you to pay MTB a visit. If you're not interested in the girls, then just let them know this and they will not bother you at all. I have many times seen blokes here just drinking beers and having a good company with the other blokes, without paying the girls any attension.

There are plenty of bars and if you have been to LOS many times (as you state), then you would know they exist and where they are. It's not hard to find a "hassle free" bar in any of the p4p resorts.

I can remember seeing a place that may be of interest for you. It was down near seapearl, up towards 200yr old road. Big sign outside. Something like "Super boys Club". Sounds like if there is just men in there. well, and boys. Don't know about football, but could be other sports on offer!

Bloke Bars
If you want a bar in Patong full of blokes and no women you should try this place; you are guarnteed not to be pestered by women
Fabulous Bar on Phuket Island: www.kohjoy.com  you could also try these 2 for good sports and live music. They are owned by the same people and the format is very similar, live band irish and western songs and western booze and food, quite popular with families and sounds like what you are after. Guesthouse and hotel bars may fit the bill as well.. Only the bartender to deal with... and she isn't going anywhere from a BF perspective, so she will not disrupt you or your friends unless you need another drink... and even then, she may not disrupt you...

yeah, i agree with kheemao, this is what the thailand experience is all about.Why go in the first place, back home i can talk about football al i want , but not on holiday with all the cute women
