you cant fault it. you pay for what you get.

ong @ riders house, otop markets.
sorry for the plug

Hey Sledge,
You are right the work over in Phuket is imo fantastic.
My wifes tatt is great and although the guy I used was a little heavy handed resulting in a bit longer to heal and itchiness still now after 2 weeks I would always get the tatts there. Cheaper more professional and I think the colours are better not worse as some have said.
I guess it always depends were you go.
The Tattoist my wife went to and imo is absolutley fantastic is as follows.

Anocha Tattoo Art Gallery
Soi Kings Fashion. Thaweewong Rd
His name is Chan ( bloody brilliant)
By the way. The guy that did mine was brilliant too but I don't have his card to pass on details just the description of how to find him as above post.
Very happy with the results of what he did and free hand also. Would highly reccomend to anyone.

I just had one done in Pattaya, just a small script (3 thai characters) about 8cm long x 5cm high. 45mins work, 850baht, good clean job, no colour bleeding.

Young guy in Soi Diana in Pattaya, I'll go back and get some more done in a few months for sure. 850baht is a bargain.

I got a new bit of ink at Zenith Tattoo just up from Patong Seafood in Soi Patong Inn. Very clean very good ink work. about $130 AUD. They do traditional bamboo as well if you have time.

Heading to patong in the following 2 and a half weeks and considering getting some ink done on my last day of my trip and going by this thread the guy at 666 in OTOP markets seems to be the go..

Unless anyone has any other opinions?

A few threads can be found using the search button. This one gives a few more ideas of decent places to get your work done

I once had a BM who made a nice tattoo, but he didnt take care of it, so almost all his colors disappeared and had to re-done it. So I guess you should listen to the advices they give you.
