Bringing girls back to the hotel?

I'am going to phuket, patong beach for the first time this summer, whats the policy with most hotels with bringing girls back to the hotel at night?

Many of the hotels in Patong charge a "joiner fee" for bringing a girl back to your room. Some of the more expensive hotels simply do not allow it at all. The check in of an overnight visitor also usually involves the girl leaving her identity card at the front desk.

If you read other posts in this forum you will see that members have listed "guest friendly" hotels. Most notably the C&N seems quite popular and cheap with no joiner charge.

My own experience is that "Guest Friendly" means just that. Friendly to guests. The Andaman Club for example was most guest unfriendly even when a joiner fee of 2000 Baht a night had been paid. They did not want Bar Girls littering up the place really as they saw it and it was impossible to arrange to meet a girl inside the hotel as she had to wait outside the security gate and I had to walk down there and sign her in each time she left the hotel.

The C&N Resort was very guest friendly. I imagine the C&N hotel is too.
