Living Room restaurant - Phuket Town

New place. Immediately to the right of Lemon Grass in town.

It is a steel and glass structure, so the inner space is large and open. In front there is a beer garden set-up. Inside they have water falling down bricks and feeding into an indoor pond near the back. Nice decor. Kinda a modern/old thing.

Food is good. Cheap. Fast. Same with drinks. Bringing bottles (including wine) is OK.

More somewhere you would go with a group of friends or a special friend. There is a 2 person band early in the evening. Playing really old easy listening music like Elton John. Recorded music between sets. Later a younger 3 or 4 piece band playing newer easy listening music like Robbie Williams. So I wasn't there for the music, but it isn't too loud so you just ignore it.

Crowd was a mix of thai couples, thai biz guys drinking, farang biz types, and groups.

I like the atmosphere. The little nongs were doing a good quick job serving.

I'll go back.

I ate there last week before a T2 night out and thought the same as you. It was all Thais on the night I went though... Well worth a look for those in town.

I can't give directions to anything in town. For me getting around there is just a process of becoming less lost until I get to my destination.

You can walk there from Timber Hut if that helps, as well.

The hotel it's opposite is Baan Suwantawe
Lemon Grass is my fave restaurant..........I always make a point of heading over there a few times each visit...........I may have to try the new place.
