D Club Photos
Just took this when they were finishing D Club.
Only have 5 letters to put up and still could not do it properly, Saw it from bangla and thought a good photo, maybe me taking the photos someone had a second look.
The second two is of the dancers in dclub, said to dodger about the green painted railings in the club, he must have had his beer googles on because he said where.

From memory, off to the right side of that sign they have a neon that reads..???????? Bangla..............The N in the Bangla is/was backwards too.
With the amount of stuff ups in their signage in LOS..............There's gotta be an opening for a proof reader, one would think?

A quick google brings up their website..... dclub
I've been a few times, and generally it's dance/hip-hop, and they have regular concerts from thai artists. Looks like one tomorrow is planned from the flyer on the site

To iltis
Do not know about the music, not been in there for along time,
When they said it's the new crocdile disco they were not lying.
New building same set up, a few soi croc owners have said it's mainly thai's again.
Could not think of anything else, so they even put a small stage in the middle of the dance floor, like suduction, that should get the punters in.

D Club
I was in D Club a couple of times during my last trip in January and there were hardly ever any people in there.
Has the situation changed or is it still the same ?

Did it as part of the crawl last night. Was in there around 1am. Not too busy. We were the only farang. About 7 coyatee dancers. Table of 3 polished sponsored thai ladies. Started to get busier on our way out as K2 says.
I liked it and will go back. but I wouldn't recommend it for most.

I thought the same, but if they did that, then they might have difficulty finding a full staff of dancers!!
We know Thailand as LOS(land of smiles), but they could just as well have called it LAC (land of A cups).

I kind of like dClub and was there several times on my last trip. I agree that it is very Thai and really only gets started after 1am, and more like 2 am. They have set up a dancing stage in the middle of the tables, the normal stage just being too far away to appreciate the dancers! They do have some great looking dancers and cute waitresses. Never seen or heard of a farang leaving with any of them however, despite a mamasan claim that the BF is 500 baht.
One tip: almost every night around 10-11pm you can find the dClub girls (in red polo shirts) out on Bangla handing out coupons. The coupons give you free entry and 4 Singha for 200 baht, or 5 Leo for 200 baht, or a 100 Pipers whisky for 599 baht including ice, 2 cokes and 2 sodas. That is a pretty good deal and makes a visit worthwhile! You can use the whisky to give free drinks to the dancers and waitresses, avoiding the 200 baht lady drink charge. If you don't finish the bottle, they gladly hold it for you behind the bar. The coupons don't have dates on them and seem to be handed out every day, including Friday and Saturday, so if you pick up a couple one night, just tuck them in your wallet until you need them. Now, if only you could do that with those dancing girls....

That's a lot like a real Thai disco. But can you bring your own bottle of Scotch and just buy the set-up? If so, then it is a real Thai disco!!

At that price, there really isn't much point in bringing your own.
But if you are a Johny Black kinda guy, shouldn't be a problem brining in your own. I think I remember seeing guys walking in with bottles.
The are bringing Clash in on the 22nd, so they are going after a thai market for sure. Or farang that have been here too long as I am thinking of going. Really like them.

I don't know if you can bring in a bottle, never tried that. However, after having used the free mixers, it cost me 170 baht + tip for 1 coke, 1 soda, and 1 ice bucket. I will let you decide if that is expensive for a club, I know my local bar sells the mixers at 15 baht each...
Cheers

Seems fair enough. That's 60 Baht for Coke, 60 Baht for soda, and 50 Baht for ice. With all the room the ice takes up plus the scotch, you should be able to get at least 3 drinks, probably 4, out of that. Figure you bring your own bottle of Hunnet Pippen(100 Pipers), that you paid 300 Baht for at 7/11, and 15 two ounce shots to a bottle, that's 20 Baht per shot, and about 80 Baht, or less, per scotch and soda drink. Pretty economical price compared to 150 Baht for the same drink at Tiger disco. About half the price. Or is there an error in my calcs??
