H20 Club - Beach Road
Has anyone been to H20 Club yet? We got as far as the stairs, then decided we couldn't be bothered to walk up. Looked like it would be hot.
The club looks ok from down below. I think there was a live band.
It is located off beach road on soi post office. That would be the first soi north of the McDonalds (walking toward bangla).
Is it worth going up the stairs? Wow are we lazy or what?

Is it near the end of the soi on the left side?
I saw the workings in April from my room from the other side. Looks big...

Yes, at the end on the left. I'd say it spans across 2-3 shop houses on the upper level.

They did work early in the morning so i could not sleep so deep as usual....
Have to think about to get a discount from the hotel, because of the loud noices and music in the night across my window........

I got a flyer last week on Bangla, few days after that I told Ead we should look for it but we couldnt find it. I just assumed it was located on Bangla around Happy Road as I got the flyer there.
But if its located on Soi Patong Tower then I will not bother, its not along my route home when bar is closed.
But I dont understand why you never entered once you got there?? We need reviews.

It must be in the next Soi - not in the Soi to the Patong Tower from the beach.
And yes ATM: Please go in the next time and make some pics. I´m interested to see how it looks now....

Like I said, we were lazy. Just left Coyote with their escalator. Walking stairs was just too much like work. Plus for some reason we all felt more compelled to not go up then to check it out. Unlike Club Lime that has you a little curious from the street level.

If you were walking north along beach road, so that the water is on your left side, starting from McDonalds it is the first soi on your right. The rebuilt post office is on the corner. Walk all the way to the end of that dead end soi. Right before the end on your left. Look up and you will see an open air bar on the second level all painted in blue. There are stairs from the street level with a guy and reception desk.

Here something similar to Erotica. Now it is for sale, but has been stripped of the lighting and audio by the guys that put it in place.
Sad to see people running up cash problems when trying to launch a place.

Yes. People do tend to underestimate the amount of capital required for start-up in general. Then they tend to overestimate the amount of business they will get when opened.
Over here it is harder to get at the true costs for start-up due to language barriers and very little of anything being a fixed price. There seems to be more unexpected costs. Also tourism seems to be all over the map the last few years. Had a few bar owners tell me this low season is even worse then right after the tsunami. Then the "dreaming" factor plays into things a lot more heavily.
All part of Thailand being a tricky place to open a business.

Entertainment venues i think it's more to do with location then anything.
No Customers no cash flow.
Club 730 opened a straight club in a gay area.
H20 club opened to far away from Bangla Rd.
The wave Disco opened in the quietest soi at the back.
+ all the bars are open later now then a few years ago.
So why go to a disco when you can have just as much fun in some bars if you with friends.
