Valhalla????????????

I'm heading to Phuket and have been told that the Valhalla Hotel is the place to stay. Any tips, views, suggestion would be welcome.

I checked out Vahalla with Robio last trip and it looked pretty dead...

Have'nt stayed there but.

I think it is a good deal; low price, sauna, pool. But it also depends on your style and what you want. I think it is a good place if you like to have "fun".

CNN is a popular choice but no pool and no sauna.

I stayed there with a few mates of mine last December and had loads of fun. We took 8 rooms including the V-VIP room. If youre going in a big group I advise taking the V-VIP room. It was previously a go-go converted into a hotel room... It has a dancefloor (with go-go poles) for the BG's to put on a show, enough room to accomodate 12 or more people... the bedroom in the V-VIP room has "sexual gadgets' such as a swing that hangs from the ceiling and what you do with it is only up to your imagination. The other rooms are ok too... Also the owner, Jan, is a pretty nice guy and will help you get whatever you need...

Also location wise its not too bad as its just off Soi Bangla and right behind Tai Pan... so if by any chance youre lonely at night (no matter how unlikely that sounds) you can just walk out to Tai Pan, pick up a FL and be back in you room almost instantly...

Many thanks lads, sounds like a good bet and looking at their web site it suits me well. Plenty of fun to be had, a pool if I'm too hung over to trek that enormous disance to the beach, no charges for bringing the ladies back so I'm counting the days.
